    Same here. I recently upgraded to a nexus 6 and i like it a lot better than my wife's Iphone 6+. Google really does need to work on battery life but other than that I have no complaints.

    The US isn't richer because of it's adventures in Afghanistan and Iraq and Russian won't be richer because of it's adventures in Ukraine, Georgia,etc. It's more likely to be bankrupt or in ruins. Of course by that time there will be no independent journalists to ask questions and everything will be glorious much in the way that it is becoming in Venezuela.

    Why don't you ask them how much they pay per kwh while you are at it? (hint: it's around 3x the US average.) If you ask most americans they will not be in favor of paying 3x more for electricity just so the environmentalists can sleep at night.

    The NRA has 10x the membership of the ACLU (5M vs 0.5M), 2.5x the budget of the ACLU ($255M/yr vs $100M/yr) and spends it all on a single issue. No wonder they are more successful.

    Except for some state chapters, it's ignored the 2nd amendment. The NRA was founded as a gun organization, so at least it doesn't pretend to protect all your rights.

    Yes, but look at Argentina and the fight over them trying to do this. Everyone wont' agree and they will still be bound by the terms of the original bonds. Fortunately for the US our bonds are denominated in dollars so we can just inflate them away...

    with only a small number in the hands of govt (6 million maybe.) Any sort of martial law would need the consent of the people and most of the people i know would not consent.

    1. I'm not against nuclear but i'm not sure it's more efficient or safer than natural gas. Part of this may be due to the obstacles put in place by the enviromentalists, but it's a reality. 2. Electric cars may be simpler but with the current state of batteries it's doubtful they are actually more efficient. There is a reason they are so expensive. This wil l change and they will eventually take over (may be soon.) 3. Coal isn't all terrible. It's very cheap and we have a lot. It produces a LOT of energy that we can't easily ignore. Don't tell me to conserve energy when we have 60+ days over 100 degrees...

    It really is the best if your goal is equality in poverty, No one has done it "correctly" because it's founded on a fatally flawed understanding of human nature. Workers are lazy and will not produce if they don't have to. Governments with totalitarian powers will never wither away.
