I believe that the fact that Vista doesn't play unprotected content is by design. At least I remember seeing that in print/type somewhere. I will not be installing Vista unless/until this Fascistic DRM/Palladium mechanism is disarmed/neutralised/hacked/slashed/killed.

In my view they are both responsible for the mountains of 'obsolete' computer hardware.
They need to take responsiblity for it, that is to say: develop some kind of recycling program for the 'obsolete' hardware.
I know that ATI does a trade up program, whereby they take your old graphics card off your hands for a measly fee, but at least it's something!

I don't believe the government spreads terrorism. They spread fear which in turn costs freedom(s) and so achieves some of the terrorist(s) aims.
