    The gas producers have no reason to leak anything. The whole purpose of gas production is to sell it.

    The reason you cannot find anything is because you are stuck in the dark ages. The are gazillions of PIC based boards out there. Anybody with half a google clue can find them.

    Ground water for human consumption comes from the upper 100 meters or so. Gas is produced fro a depth of more than 2000 meters. The water down there is undrinkable toxic brine. Adding some more salts to it makes no big difference and it stays down there, it is not produced to the surface.

    Uhmm, General Motors, Wal-Mart and pretty much all financial institutions already use Red Hat. Windows is a niche product running on about 1 billion devices. The other 100 billion devices run Linux.

    Well, KDE has always been nicely configurable. I simply turn off all the cruft I don't need and Nepomuk is always the first thing to go and I never even install Kmail in the first place. Complaining about it is pointless, since turning it off is a simple click of the mouse.

    No, you don't evacuate it. You fill the sphere with hydrogen. That will give you much more bang for your buck.
