Awww, come on.... lumping people together under this derogatory SJW term really is way beyond any sensible line. All men are rapists, misogynists... fine. But everyone we disagree with is a SJW? No really... the pinnacle of primitivity.
About half of all humans are female... and misogyny is widely documented across history and across cultures.
True. We really should start to throw out those damn Ferengis. They can do with their women on their planet whatever they want, but here on Earth? Our grand-grand-grand.........grandfathers should never have allowed them to land here.
Nope, not in one bit. Besides the fact Zoe herself admitted to being a whore publicly kinda ruins any and all chances of those rumors being false.
Oh, but this is not problem at all for her. As woman she just has to retroactively withdraw her consent to the sex. And instantly we have a poor innocent rape victim. And you primitive misogynists try to put her through the hoops for it. Typical victim blaming.
No, no, no, you don't understand at all. We are supposed to assume that women can do everything. And of course they can do everything better than men. Only to ask them to prove it and actually do is misogyny.
Buahahahahahahahahahaaaaa...... Women are supposed to actually do something? Something constructive? YMMD. Hmm... perhaps I should be fair. There are a few women, who do. Strangely they produce exactly the same kind of games, against those yapping ankle biters are fighting.
Liquid nitrogen might be colder, but does not seem to have much heat capacity. When I had access to it, I 'played' a bit with it... who does not? Instant ice cream... putting finger in it... hand. No problem. Once I had a wet rag on the floor and I poured half a 5l Dewar with liquid nitrogen over it. The whole room was full of mist, but to my surprise the rag hardly got colder. However, I would not try this with liquid helium.;-)
Since computer models and simulations are rarely 100% precise one can ignore them. See climate models. There is no climate change and probably no Yellowstone volcano either. Probably not even a place with the name 'Yellowstone'.
Of course the experimenters were not told about the fuel. When some company comes with a magic bullet like new technology, I'd be careful, too. Too often something like this happened: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ADE_651/
And why I thought this was on purpose? Just because of 'They were really impressed that...'. If it wasn't on purpose, I expected the team gloating like 'They were really embarressed that a foreign team discovered their sloppiness'.
The funny thing here is that Digia is still going to support Tivoization, but customers will have to pay for it!
This is utter nonsense. When customers pay they are not bound by any GPL or LGPL version. Therefore the term 'Tivoization' is not applicable at all. Looks like you have no clue what 'Tivoization' really means.
I did not say it was impossible... only that it is ugly. For smaller projects shipping the objects files is not much of a problem, but the larger the project, the heavier this burden. Deployment definitely gets more complicated.
No, I don't confuse anything. Sure I can use the free version commercially. But it gets really ugly if you want to link Qt statically. And the commercial version has a few nice add-ons, which are not in the free version, e.g. the QML compiler. Fortunately there are some good reasons why someone prefers the commercial version... fortunately because if there were none, there wouldn't be a reason for Digia to go on with Qt.
Nonsense. You cannot get a commercial license by forking. You can fork, but only under one of the open source licenses. And if I had something to say, for forking the Qt code I'd certainly NOT give a commercial license.
I am software developer. I know my way around the Qt and QtCreator code quite well. I just don't have the time to code directly for the Qt project, since I have enough own projects. With such an extra incentive, however, I'd probably shift priorities. Maybe not only me? Could give the Qt project some extra hands... without unreasonable extra costs.
Only thing I'd wish for: A third way to give back. Getting a commercial license for a certain amount of help, e.g. bug fixes or other code contributions to the Qt project.
So, suppose there is an app in the store. I generally need this app, but it misses a feature, I need. Or I am not too happy with the overall user experience and improve parts of it so it better fits my needs. I add a feature, even if a small one, I adjust the user interface the way I like it. For me this app is definitely better than the original, perhaps for others, too. Does this count as copying? Who has to decide this? How different has an app to be to count as work of its own. Or are we all cursed with inferior apps, because they were developed more quickly, sloppy and therefore released earlier?
Proposals like yours are quickly made, but rarely thought through. They would work fine, if there were only black and white cases, but there never are. As experience in many areas shows, only wannabe block wardens and lawyers benefit from rules like that.

Some games are that bad, that money simply is not enough.
We think? Do you talk about yourself in the 3rd person?
Don't answer. I know you are a representative of a professional misandristic hate group.
True. That's when I stopped caring about karma and post here only for fun. :-)

Strange, I have the feeling this constantly happens. These 'discussions' are full of mangin...erm... white knights these days.

Answer: No..... And off with this naughty hand.

I interpreted it that way that they put them on purpose there. To test the scanner.
This depends only on three factors:
1. Skin colour
2. The expected profit
3. The expectation to get away with it

You can never violate the GPL by using GPLed code. You can only violate the GPL by distributing GPLed code the wrong way.

You make it sound as if Digia would do something ethical questionable. Is this company not allowed to make money with their product?

Tomorrow: Researchers Blame "Not invented here" mentality.
Instead of using tested standard libs, developers constantly reinvent the wheel.
