PLEASE. What is the % market for classical music fans ? And what percent of thoses are actually users of SACD ? Classical music fans are already a minority, so are SACD and DVD users. Audio CD reached the peak for the large majority of the consumers. Classic audiophiles are NOT the fucking large majority of consumers, they are the ones who buy four digits (five ?) Hi-Fi setup.

*You* are wrong, you rely on personal stats. I will do the same, i will be wrong too, it's just to contradict you. Here some of mine : I have very BIG family, one of my grand mother got 12 childs, that is. That's just one side of my family. I don't know anyone who cares about anything but their houses and car. They put every $ they get in their houses and car. Their TV are old, yes big bug old and not very good, only one of them has a REAL Hi-Fi set and not a Sony craphola, and the rare ones who got computers buys the cheapest. One of them bought a pool so high-priced that would make you cry but his bad TV, his bad audio set, and the absence of computer, they don't deserve the same treatment. Not all people in this world cares of Digital Gadgets.

I'm tired of this "OSX is getting more efficient version by version while windows suck it hard" myth. Truth is, OSX is so sluggish there IS room to make it more efficient. Back in 2001, the first OSX 10.0 was SLUGGISH AS HELL, while Windows XP was fast and booted more fast than win 2000. Windows XP and 2003 are so efficient, there's no room to "improve" the speed.

You are so stupid you open your mouth without knowing redhat. They release often and support multiples versions of the distro at once. So, if you NEED the latest version (for drivers, for new php/apache or WHATEVER) you can have it, and if in the next years you don't need anything new, your distrib is supported, bug and security fix, for 7 years. Debian can't do that, they are just a bunch of non-paid packagers.

Man, RHEL for the servers is just years ahead. They release more often, so when you buy modern hardware you don't have to tweak too much the distrib, AND they release bugfix and security patches for 7 years. So, with RHEL you have the choice to use a MODERN distribution that's just as stable as the debian obsolete. You can't have it all. Debian is a distro for hobbyists, made by hobbyists, not professionnals.

The difference between windows and obsoletes linux : i don't need to update the whole system just to update the gimp because of dependancies and the toolkits. In windows, i can install the latest photoshop or gimp without needing to update the whole fucking system and i don't need package manager doing so much hard work. I hate package management in linux it plain sucks. You can't install GTK2 and modern apps on a debian woody without needing to compile, configure, upgrade, install billions of packages. You can install the gimp with two clicks on an old windows.
