Our phone system is run by a router. My boss was trying to show his boss how to configure his phone over the browser based interface. Well insted we got a 'Hacked by Chinese' page. I think all the anti-virus guys said to do was reboot the machine, which I did.

This happened over a month ago. This sounds like Code Red but everybody keeps saying it was created on 7/17. Did I get it early? Or is this something else?

Nowadays when I build forms I always set a max length. This keeps people from doing the things I did when I was 15

I work at a Ad shop called Centric. I'm in Web Development and we have a War Room setup. Basically everyone has a "L" shaped desk 10 feet wide and 3.5 feet deep at the skinny end and 4.5 feet wide at the big end. And we put them together facing each other. This is a good idea. I can look at anyone in the room and ask them a question without having to get up and walk around. This saves a lot of time. Getting help on JavaScript problems talks forver if I have to get, walk out of my cubical, walk to someone else's cubical and ask. Now I just shout "Do I put Document.Forms[0].regionID.selectedindex?" and someone can help. This is probably the best setup if everyone else is doing the same kind of work. The designers here are kind of old so they don't put up with the punk coders. Maybe because every hour or so everybody out back grabs their electric guitars and has a jam session.

It makes the story that much better because the reader doesn't have to ask himself, "Doesn't Lex need our love to?" Then Superman would show Lex what he was doing and Lex would see his true self. He'd have therapy and be reformed and join Greenpeace and the ACLU and be a really great guy.

Yeah, like that's what every comic reader wants. We want the baddies to get bitchslapped for fucking with what is good in this world.

But exchange is a hog, man. We have 22 people here at Centric and 75% use exchange and that brings a 333 pII to it's knees. I know a 333 pII sucks but this is only 22 people. Plus since people like to not delete their mail, the disk drives fill up. A large company(>100 people) would need all kinds of mailservers to keep up. one thing though. It's cool have your mail show up in your inbox the second the mail server receives it.
