I'm not going to say I've never downloaded anything that might be questionable. What I am saying, is that when you take a risk, there are consequences. Is what they are doing, exploitation? Sure. How and why can they get away with it? Because you broke the law. It's really simple. If you don't agree with the law, get it changed. See if you can get the law to justify certain forms of theft. Or convince movie studios to charge less and put out better movies. Of course, the only way to do that is to hit them in the pocketbook which means not BUYING their movies, and downloading them for free instead. Catch 22 really. Just stop making it someone else's problem when you are being extorted because you've broken the law. It's called "Personal Responsibility".

Home automation. Computer control of home events. Touch panel control of certain biometric 'environmental conditions'. Low lighting and rose scented aromatherapy air treatment for a nice relaxing evening, or bright lighting and iincreased volume for parties... That type of thing.
Now comes the gradeschool fantasy stuff. Hidden passages to underground locations. My server room, a vault, a wine cellar, the garage etc.

Having been one of the testing admins for the who TSA testing process, I will let you know that money was POURED hand over fist to us. There was absolutely NO concern for making sure things were done with financial efficiency.
On the other hand.. the whole process DID go smoothly. Far better than *I* would have expected it to.
