  1. Who what how spectacles pampers? on Information Technology Pros Debate Windows Vista · · Score: 0

We've all heard from dozens -- actually hundreds -- of analysts, journalists, pundits, bloggers, and other opinionated writers about Vista. I know I'm in for a good read when an article starts off with a gem like that.

  2. Maybe it needs some time. on Vista Worse For User Efficiency Than XP · · Score: 0

I have no plans to downgrade to Vista this year. I'm going to wait for the service packs, updates, cool little registry tweaks that come out in PC magazines and whatever that will make it useable. It's only the DRM clusterfuck that really gets my goat. The cosmetic stuff will be sorted by the time I go to Vista sometime in '08 for sure.

What are the implications of this for Jose Cucaracha, his wife, six children, and one fetus?

  4. Something smells. on Amazon Using Patent Reform to Strengthen 1-Click · · Score: 2, Funny

Patenting 1-Click is like realizing that the flush toilet has already been patented and then deciding to patent taking a dump.

  5. Oh noes! on The Future of Journalism Online · · Score: 1

The mainstream media has an agenda. Go to those MSM websites where they allow "discussion" comments (notice how few actually do) at the end of their articles. You will notice that comments must be approved by an editor before they get posted. They don't trust the people to moderate their own discussions. WHY IS THAT? Now people have a genuine alternative to funding the vanguards of political correctness... at least until it becomes illegal to post any wrongthink on the net. Then the MSM will have a renaissance.

  6. Just wait for the torrent on Virtualization Disallowed For Vista Home · · Score: 1

People who want to run it virtually are adept enough to find the business edition or whatever torrent. Microsoft's douchebaggery is nothing more than an annoyance. 3 software crackers and such.

  7. Possible 5th Amendment Issue? on Blogging All the Way to Jail · · Score: 1

What if the video shows Josh Wolf himself trashing the police vehicle? Forcing him to provide it would be forcing him to provide self-incriminating evidence.
