Yeah, the idea is to have everything digital. Then pump up the monitor count and resolutions. I think I saw that Gate's office has three monitors. Begging for that setup.
I'm all for open source everything. Intel put a huge amount of nerd favor behind them. I think they still largely lack DVI though. That's my biggest concern. And dual link is likely completely out of the question.
So sick of x86. Look at all the cool stuff the graphics card makers are coming up with. Intel needs to buy NVidia to get real innovation done. I'm sure they have cool stuff cooking up, though. Let's get engineers going and let's get innovating!
That's nice. With brain implants we could learn this much in a day. Eventually, a few nanoseconds. The singularity means this guy will be old news quick. Too bad.
Well, if all goes well, you pretty much have a god who can overpower the entire collection of humanity. So, that's not very democratic. But I would imagine a transhumanist party supporting a lot of neuroscience research, and relaxing restrictions such as animal cruelty. You can go either the state route or private money. People will give if they know there won't be restrictions.

For comparison, Perl (evangelical) and Ruby (Mormon) are both written by Christians. I'll refrain from putting any opinion here. Just giving the facts as I know them.
Transhumanism promises things far greater than free copying. We promies lifespans in the trillions of years. The elimination of sleep. A brain the size of Jupiter. Beats rice subsidies, eh?
Pirating for money is a far different thing than copying for free. That includes Pirate Bay, as they seem to have ads on their site. I have a real problem with people copying music/games/etc and selling it. If they choose to put it up for free--I have a lot less of a problem with that.
Put a lot of people who know a bit about computer science (linux, PHP, etc. ) and have them comment on a hard science. They don't even know enough hard physics and math to even rate their own skills. All they can do is joke about it. Enough with the sharks.
My objection remains that the music is non-lossy. With 8GB flash players, all the arguments for lossy music are quickly going away. While they are at it, I wouldn't mind 24-bit/96kHz or something like that.
If the cost of repair is more than the value of the _repaired_ car--then by definition repairing it is stupid. Because you can just buy a similar used car and junk the one you have.
SLI will let you have 4 monitors. All digital. All at dual-link resolutions.

We need to get rid of the variable length encoding. The very basis of x86 is a running joke for anyone who is clued.
Is that gonna happen? Dual link gives you the huge resolutions. Dual monitors is even better.

Big deal. We live in a corporate world. Deal with it. And Intel, the largest of them, was the one that got you what you wanted!
Doesn't it matter that Intel's graphics are lame?

Singinst.org. I also direct people to brainmeta.com. Some great neuroscience going on there. Give both money!

segmentation fault. core dumped. laser fires randomly at Redmond, Washington.
Counterfitting is passing it off as genuine. If the customers knows it is copied and still buys it--that's just for-profit piracy.

Uh, Apple uses Intel. Heard? Also, you don't need floppies for XP. Except for some corner case--you can boot CD's or thumb drives just fine.
We are out there. Give to singinst.org. Check out brainmeta. The singularity is coming.
The count of Montecito just flew the castle. Intel is keeping it around. And they have enough money to do whatever they want with Itanium.

Great company. Real solid and with great integrity. I'm sure they'll put lasers to great use. Yes, x86 is horrible, but that too will pass.
So that's 3d then? I know there are theoretical limits to resolution--but I think the retina becomes a limiting factor way before then.

The singularity is coming. Microsoft won't be around then. We'll know all the code that we run after we become cyborgs. And later, jupiter brains.

It's a nerd thing. Hand in your nerd card if you don't want completely non-lossy, non-interlaced media!
