No, it is quite different! The Internet-Motorbike is a store-and-forward e-mail-system. The idea is to deliver e-mails to spots where there is no internet connection possible. However, it does not create a real internet-connection. The magicbike establishes a real internet-connection. But I instantly had to think of the Internet-Motorbike as I saw the magikbike, too.

The right chair, sport and the correct posture should help. If your chair is not comfortable you will never sit in the right posture which is really important. A strong muscled back helps to relieve your backbone. Someone mentioned swimming. I prefer inlineskating (yes, it trains the muscles in the back). Complete sit-ups are unhealthy for the backbone.

Well, the us can force (to a certain level) other countrys to do things they do not want to do. Also if someone has a us-patent it is not to (unfortunately) hard to get an eu-patent for it.

However, why is the us the only country that has a right to have a good economy? The people in Japan worked hard. Why do us-pharmacy-concerns have the right to tell african states which pills they have to buy?

You say, that so much good can be done by a proper patent system. Good for whom? The us? Perhaps you did not realize it, but there are human beeings outside the us as well.

Sorry, I think you didn't get the point. There is no sourcecode. Or am I wrong? If the source-code is available (under GPL-Licence or similar) I am perfectly happy. But in the FAQ it says, that this is not an open-source-project. And I wonder why.

So i do not see a FreeBSD-Version. Ok, that is not so bad, because FreeBSD on x86 can start Linux-x86-Programs. But nevertheless I don't get it. This is a free Program, but it is free as in beer, not speech. (Take a look at http://www.parsec.org/faq.html question 33.) Why? So it is very likely we will never see native Versions for *BSD and also not for different hardware than x86 an Mac.

Ok, so they say "We're strong believers in a coordinated development effort". Even if they give the sourcecode away they can. Just look what it is with FreeBSD. Is is highly coordinated, but the sources are free.

AFAIK some of the Parsec-guys have been at Linux-Tag 2000. Didn't you hear the speech of Stallman? :-)

The question is: Is ist countable? If you have 2 infinite countable sets P and Q, then the union of P and Q is an infinite Set as well. Take a look at the hilbert-hotel. We have a hotel with infinite but countable number of rooms, which are all ocupied and an infinite but countable number of guests have just arrived. Say all guests: if there old room-number is n they have to move to room 2*n and to every new guest there room-number is guest-number*2+1.

A few posters here don't get it. The ports-collection (package for NetBSD) has nothing (or at least almost nothing) to do with .deb .tar or .rar. It is a system to install programs on your system. So before you shout "Yet another incompatible packging-system" try to understand, that it's the opposite case here. It tries to bring three (four with Darwin) Systems together. And I hope that this project will suceed.

In this show you can watch a couple of people who are isolated in a house (at their own will) and every week one of them is elected to leave. The last one gets o lot of money. As this show came up I was somehow shocked. Ok, I know there are enough idiots who want to be in tv at any price, but think of the consequences. It supports the tollerance of being watched. Things like this
risk our privacey on a long term basis.
