    I wish my credit card did that. I tipped $5 on about a $20 bar bill. Someone in the bar apparently decided my tip wasn't big enough and instead changed my credit card a tip of $50 on a $20 bill.

    What should be outlawed is quotas.

    I saw an internal memo written by Jack Welch, CEO of General Electric, in which he rebuked his senior management on how few Indian programmers on visas who were being hired. He did not say H-1B workers he actually wrote he wanted Indian programmers. And, because of this failure he was instituting hiring quotas for the minimum number of Indian programmers to be hired.

    I have had that problem. My doctor gave me a valid ICD diagnosis. My doctor prescribed me a standard drug for my condition. My insurance company says that my drug is not prescribed for my ICD diagnosis. They are OK with my drug being prescribed for some other ICD diagnosis codes.

    Maskelyne's method was useful and used for exploration. If you find new land, put your telescope on land and find its position. There are other methods of longitude calculation using other astronomical observations.

    Republicans get blamed for an initiative of the World Health Organization that is being pushed by a Democrat administration. Meanwhile, congressional Republicans are trying to override Obama's decision to go ahead with ICD-10.

    Facts don't seem to matter to Democrats.

    Nope. Neither Uber nor any Uber driver has been convicted of violating any law in NSW. The government is suspending licenses without any legal process because when they tried to take legal action the government's cases collapsed. What is legal has nothing to do with what the government is doing.

    You are providing a reason why people should buy health insurance. You might have heard about this thing call Obamacare. It made it a legal requirement for everyone to purchase health insurance.

    You can access the references for free. You just need to go to a library. You may have heard of such a building, it contains books. Books are an archiac form of the internet where the web pages appear on pieces of paper.

    This sort of thing has been going on Wikipedia for some time. Some editors have dared to use books from a library for their sources! This would require other editors to purchase the book or to go to a library to check the reference! This kind of practice should be condemned. If the source can not be found with a Google search it should not be used!
