Both are corporate stooges, both wrote the same economy destroying healthcare legislation, both want more and more war, both support continued and expanded use of coal, etc etc. There is no real difference, only stupid wedge issues that idiots can't see around.

Costs go up, wages stay the same. You might think this is normal, but it isn't. This is a feature of fully fiat currency removed from the gold standard. It will keep going until something breaks. The Middle East, which was poorer to start with, has already reached its breaking point, and will have riots until the broken system is fixed. Eventually, those riots will reach our shores, but not before all of our wealth has been confiscated through money printing, which is now going unchecked, Weimar style.

Weather is not climate, for fucks sake. One year of record this or record that is not a trend, and the short thirty year trend in declining sea ice in the Arctic is mirrored by the rise in sea ice in the Antarctic over the same time period. This looks like a natural cycle to me, especially given the assertions I have heard about an open Northwest Passage during WWII.

I tried using a windows computer after being a Mac guy for the last 7 years, and I couldn't find a damn thing. Needed access to the control panel, and the quickest way in was like three or four clicks into a bunch of hidden menus. I've got my control panel on my sidebar--one click access, and even better, I get to CHOOSE what I want on there, and everything else is accessible through finder's sidebar within a couple of clicks. The only things I have to spend any time searching for are the files in big directory trees that I have dumped onto the desktop from one place or another, and I can search those from the top bar of finder.

Yes, those should be legal, just like they were up until a few decades ago in the West. If you are going to outlaw child pornography using the justification that children are hurt in its production, then you have to outlaw ALL videos of children being hurt. My father has a great perspective on this, with regards to adult women in movies: "If you have a man kissing a woman's breast in a movie, it will receive an NC-17 rating. If you have a man slicing off that breast, it receives an R rating."

    How fucked up is that?

Ok, so now you say, "well, it's not about the victimization, but about encouraging the behavior". Well, again, the same conditions apply. With that argument, you are now saying it is fine to kill a child, but fucking one is EVIL. There are lots of potential serial killers out there who could get off on such things.

No, this whole CP being illegal crap has got to stop. It is nothing but anti-sex insanity. Sex is NOT WORSE THAN DEATH.

Also, if you have "experienced" God, then you probably have some sort of personality disorder, or you simply believe in belief. If you really believed in the Christian God, you would be doing all manner of totally insane things that would quickly get you removed from society, probably not long after you had stoned someone to death for eating meat on a Friday.
