Last time i drove on the autobahn (about 6 months ago) everyone was already driving pretty slowly. About 120km/h. Sure there was the odd fast driver, not many compared to say 8-10 years ago.
Interesting. I lived in Vienna for about 7 years, and due to circumstance had an experience with the judicial system there. Such a court case would probably drag on for a long time.
An interesting point. If they got new photos from a different photographer, would anyone be able to tell the difference? These are after all very generic photos with nothing all that artistic about setting your f-stop, focus and shutter speed. I have been to this place. It is a nice view, but not all that special or anything. quite a few places in Vienna get impressive views because you just not allowed to build very tall buildings.

Except news papers, journals, magazines, the 6 o'clock news.... Lots of places have now demanded *at least* full non exclusive copyright for some time now. And quite a few demand full exclusve copyright transfer, or they just tell you to fuck off. It is not like there is a shortage of photographers.
I did exactly this for my wedding photographer. I do think that photographers who own everything no matter what are kinda dicks, i don't really understand who they are still around. Considering most places would now demand to full rights handed over.
The colors are not misleading in that red is not suppose to mean "bad". It is simply the color scale you use and the red is the highest represented in the map. Red is the highest. No judgment on how bad or good has been made. Standard heat plot with a hsv color ramp.

Thrust to weight ratio is terrible in gas turbines. Next is airspeed. At stage one burnout you going between 3-7x the speed of sound. Look at the blackbird to get an idea of just how hard it is to make an engine work at the speed. Rockets give you velocity and get you out of the atmosphere, and they are good at it. Jet engines give you cruise in the atmosphere. They do different jobs. "space planes" are a terrible fit for getting to space. Just as trains don't look like aircraft, we shouldn't expect space launch to look like aircraft either.
I depends on country. Some countries it is only what is depicted that matters. So even if all actors are of legal age it is still legal. However other countries only care that all actors are of legal age, and you can depict anything you like and have free rain with animated or CG content. Add to that that legal age does vary a bit between countries. Internationally it is a mess.
The problem with this is that law enforcement just doesn't care about the children. They don't go after the creators of this porn and they don't try and find the victims. And yes some of this stuff is made in first world countries. Also the rate of victims is very low compared to the media frenzy. Estimates as low as one or two new victims a year on the "standard" websites. Clearly hard to measure, but much lower that the total number of child victims of sex crimes.
Americans are far worse that "don't give a shit about others". You actively hate each other and shoot/sues/beat each other at the drop of a hat. I have never been to a country that distrusts each other soo much. And been to some traditionally considered shit holes for countries.
The problem with that logic is, in order to better yourself you need to take risks -- but if the potential consequence taking a risk is starvation, you can't afford to take any risks. That means you end up working your entire life in an unskilled job because you can't afford the risk of starting your own business, or going to school to learn new skills.
QFT. there is a lot more underemployment that the books don't show. I don't just believe in some basic income (and greatly simplified welfare system), but also free education (perhaps conditioned on not failing more than 2x for a given course). Add to that a much more simplified tax system such as transaction tax only. The devil is in the details. But right now it is just a mess.
Not true. I am not allowed to build a mote without a "pool" fence here in NZ. And that will make the mote look ugly. But i guess the fence+mote is better Zombie defense.

The consistently cheapest flights i can get from EU to NZ are almost always in A380s. So not sure what you mean by reflected in the price?
