Realizing most nerds are men, do you ever have she-nerds (or, why not? he-nerds) throw themselves at you? Has anybody met you after a talk and invited you up to their hotel room? Do ever get fan mail offering wild sex or proposing marriage?
Seriously, this. Non-profits are a great way to build your portfolio and do good in the world. The one thing I would do differently if I could is take some business classes. It can be really helpful in meetings to know not only what's technically possible, but also what's best for the business. Also, if you ever choose to freelance, knowing a little something about how to run your own business will make your life easier.
Sometimes you hear about celebrities who get marriage proposals or women asking them to sign their boobs or the like - has anything like that happened to you?
My Android phone came with the Facebook app preinstalled and requires rooting to uninstall. At this point I'd be much more interesred in a phone incapable of running Facebook.
I'm a little out of practice with CSS so I may be missing something obvious, but is there some reason you can't do something like align: center, padding-left:10px to create the same effect as center+10px?
I got the impression that the sexing people opposed the dogs going leash-less because the dogs were peeing on them during intercourse, but there could be an entirely new subset of people involved, perhaps the radicals at PETPA, People for the Ethical Treatment of Peeing Animals.
That's a great idea, making a product no one is allowed to look too carefully at. I'm going to sell diamond rings and sue anyone who tries to find out or inform others that they're really cubic zirconia.
There have been sexual predators for as long as there have been people. Attacks have always been relatively rare, and most people will never be victimized.
While I agree with your point, but I disagree with the "attacks have always been relatively rare." By some accounts, one in four* women in the United States will be raped at some point in her life, to say nothing of men who are raped or what goes on in prisons. While that still leaves "most people" unvictimized, I wouldn't it "relatively rare."
Your use of the word "always" is also problematic. During wartime, raping your enemy's women is always a favorite pass time.
* Admittedly that statistic is disputed in that a lot of the women did not identify their experiences as rape, although they answered yes to questions like, "Have you ever had sex because you were threatened with physical violence?" and other actions the researchers felt constituted rape. Others feel that if the victim does not identify it as rape, it was not, although a detailed discussion of what constitutes rape is really beyond the scope of this comment.

Yeah, like that backwards place where they trust rapists more than atheists:

Wait, that was the United States. Looks like Americans have some really poorly reasoned attitudes and legislation.

The only reason your money has any value besides kindling is a fragile social contract...
Can we make this a meme? Complete with text badly photoshopped over Monty Python stills? Please?

Not to mention clients. 20K servers is nothing compared to the millions of clients who should be running Flashblock.
FTFY.

This is tagged weareborg. We are borg who are mainlining warez and will add the Jonas Brothers' catchy distinctiveness to our own.
(There's a cyborg/Michael Jackson plastic-surgery obsession joke somewhere in here, but I'll leave it to cleverer posters to hash out.)
All my best coding takes place in the middle of the night. It's quiet and everybody else is too busy sleeping to distract me.
Unfortunately, the times when I'm really tearing it up are usually the same times that I have to be awake and alert in 3 hours or less.
You realize there's a good 300 miles of California north of the bay area, right?
the US, and since they're still in the horse and buggy era when it comes to measuring systems and since they outnumber us ten to one
Here in the US we say we outnumber you twelve to 1 one and a fifth.
A3: Because you're about to go on an away mission with a bunch of main cast members and get killed.
Well, she's in office now. Fortunately it's easy to contact her.
Yeah, but then you're running Java.
if it keeps the assholes around here from pissing everywhere...
FYI, one generally doesn't piss out their asshole.

The company lawyer advised you to.

surprise them with the news at work one day.
And bring a camera crew. Don't deprive reality TV of this pivotal moment in history.
I feel so, so dirty envying a Vista feature. I'm sure I could configure Gnome to do the same, but I don't feel good about myself right now.
