AdTI: Handouts for Neocons
Fact: AdTI employs James Kilpatrick as a senior fellow. Kilpatrick made a career defending segregation and apartheid.
Fact: AdTI employs John Norquist, the not-so-big-time younger brother of big-time conservative activist Grover Norquist.
Fact: AdTI president Ken Brown's sole research qualification is a BA in English from George Mason. He has built a career out of milking shady publications, agent-of-foreign-power lobby groups, and dubious business-academica-government incest groups.
Half of the links from the AdTI front page are broken. The other half send you to repositories of op-eds and recorded radio shows.
This is not a research institute. Not even a bad research institute. This is a demi-journalistic hack shop where goldbricking bottomfeeders of right-wing policy studies and editorial-writing filch cash from gullible corporations in return for hastily-written hokum.
Please do not post any more from these con artists. I'm sure they get paid by the hit. -
Google has them cached
You can see the Freecache page on Google: Click Here
I wonder how long before Google Labs starts doing this? -
Re:RTFA your own article
Monaghan did sell Domino's, in that he no longer controls it. But he still controls 27% of the company, so he still makes a lot of money from it.
There's a Google cache of a cnn article here:

More like a small business success story
Every library would like to have a couple of Linux Luminaries on their staff. So now these guys go off and form their own company and sell their services back to the library. (Of course even the Google cache of Lumixtech is
/.ed) -
Can't even get Google Cache?
Slashdot is responsive, but even this google cache of the mirror sites isn't working for me.
Sasser, or is it just me?

Guns. Lots of guns. Why settle for just one Uzi or one six-shooter? Bring enough pre-loaded weaponry to get the job done right.
On the other hand, Cory Doctorow's Spam Solution Form Letter unfortunately applies to you.
Your post advocates a
( ) technical ( ) legislative ( ) market-based (X) vigilante
approach to fighting spam. Your idea will not work. Here is why it won't work. (One or more of the following may apply to your particular idea, and it may have other flaws which used to vary from state to state before a bad federal law was passed.) ...
Specifically, your plan fails to account for ...
and the following philosophical objections may also apply: ....
(X) Feel-good measures do nothing to solve the problem
(X) Killing them that way is not slow and painful enough

Look at the timeline and current progress...If you look at the
... hmmm ... interesting. There WAS (is?) a link and details on the project plan. A little Google cache searching shows this. The direct link to http://www.specopslabs.com/david_development.htm still works, though it's not available from the home page (AFAICT).
Either way, the timeline breaks down like this (summary);
Phase 1 - 100% - Document theoretical model.
Phase 2 - 100% - Build business case.
Phase 3 - 10% - Produce architecture roadmap.
Phase 4 - 0% - Implement system design.
Phase 5 - 0% - Deployment and maintenance/updates.
This is a reasonable breakdown, though if Phase 4 is the coding stage, they have a boatload of work to do. Since most projects fail let alone products (more hostile environment), I would not be worried if I were Codeweavers, EMC (VMWare),
... let alone Microsoft.Looks like they are attempting to get investment capital.

Slashdotted?
Even the google cache copy seems inaccessible.. Here is the Freshmeat Project Page for Scribus 1.1.6, and I also have a link to the home page
