Here you can hear some of his music
At least his latest album is still available, and you can hear 30 seconds out of 31 seconds of each track here: http://www.7digital.com/artist/kim-jong-deux/release/a-kim-jong-christmas
Maybe I'm crazy but I actually found the music not too bad. It's weird music but it seems to have something...

Re:Shooting themselves in the foot.
I didn't buy any mainstream music for the past few years because Amazon won't sell music in Canada and I'm boycotting iTunes entirely.
But then a friend referred me to a company willing to take my money, 7digital. Oddly, they don't show up in the first page of Google results for "Buy music in Canada". -

I consciously don't buy music anymore.
I don't pirate it either. I just do without. Why? Because I can't bring myself to give my hard earned money to the thieving cocksuckers that comprise the RIAA and contribute to their program of turning the internet into a police state.
Why don't you try to use the internet against the RIAA? You can legally download music from a number of websites. Some of them are:
- Creative Commons
- Links to Tens of Thousands of Legal Music Downloads
- Magnatune
- Podsafe music network
- 7digital
Now you may not find music you like but you might.

Re:So,no more DRM
Until now, the only DRM-free option with a comprehensive catalog was Amazon.
There are other sources of DRM-free music. Some of them are:
Those are just ones I have bookmarked.

70% of their catalogue is MP3, and they've even got FLACs of the last Radiohead album.
Unfortunately, some of their catalogue is protected WMA only. -
Re:offtopic: DRM-free retailers compared?
Whoops, I had a reference to something called 7music above, but I meant 7digital.

Re:Not in the UK
I've bought a few discs that I've had trouble playing. A couple of them I just took straight back to the shop for a refund, but the others I was able to get working after some irritating fiddling around. Playback from the discs either failed or had impossibly juddering sound. My copy program (K9copy) wouldn't rip either disc properly from one DVD drive but succeeded with my older drive so I was able to watch my DVD's directly from an iso file. All of the DVDs were from Optimum Releasing, so they lost out on a couple of sales when I took them back unplayed. The two I kept were Princess Mononoke and Pan's Labyrinth. I don't know what protection is on these DVD's but it's very irritating and I've learned to check whether a DVD is from Optimum Releasing before I buy it.
And I'm holding off buying music until I get a decent DRM free download store. There's 7digital but their selection is pretty poor for the MP3 stuff. Whoever is first to offer quality MP3's from mainstream artists is going to get a lot of money from me. -
Re:Unfortunately inevitable...
Add to that 7digital
... Not totally DRM-free, but they do sell the tracks as MP3 when permitted. -
Other great sites.

Radiohead
Radiohead has allowed for their music to be sold digitally. 7Digital has, more or less, their entire collection. Not only that, but they have it in WMA, AAC and MP3, no DRM required. A little more expensive than iTunes at £7.77 (about $14.60 USD), but not too bad,

or maybe get it from another online source...

Re:what format?http://www.7digital.com/ provides some songs in AAC that are iPod compatible.
They are encoded at 192Kbps and are unencumbered by any DRM - but sadly they cost 99p as opposed to iTunes' 79p.
They are also few and far between - generally from labels that don't mind the lack of DRM (the indies).
I've bought a few things from them or their affiliate shops (the recent Embrace single Nature's Law had a digital download only part to it that you can buy via their website) and on the whole they're pretty good - better quality than iTunes anyway.
That said, I shall probably still use iTunes for legal until someone (like Google?) offer me the following
- Downloads with no DRM
- A choice of file format and bit rate
- The excellent free Single of the Week
This last option is one of the things about iTunes I absolutely love - I've got pretty much every one since I signed up 18 months ago, so that's over 75 free tracks. I've actually purchased a couple of albums off the backs of these freebies (CD copy though - sorry Apple!).Who said you can't get something for nothing, eh?

Some of this stuff has actually aired
Except that they don't quite seem to get it yet. They are offering here some videos from this car programme which apparently didn't quite make it to air,
In fact, the race between the Porsche Boxster and the BMW Z4 aired in the UK last night at 20:30. Hence I think the segments available for download relate to things in the current series of Fifth Gear. I don't know if the downloadable video includes footage beyond the amount that aired though. I can't think of any other reason to pay £1.50 for it. -
