I think the New York Times is the only major news organization that didn't cover it from what I can google, but I don't have a subscription so I may have missed their coverage.

I'm glad that President Trump is focusing on his number of Twitter followers as one of his supporters in Florida is arrested for a terrorist attack on his prominent critics.

He's definitely showing leadership and has his priorities straight.

What I linked to had to do with BLM containing Black Supremacists, bent not merely on subjugating or mocking, but outright killing Whites. That Twitter protects them is covered by TFA itself.

Yesterday, June 1, there was a gun-related murder-suicide at UCLA. Two people were killed. There were no other incidental injuries.

Yesterday, June 1, there was also a concert where 2 people died and 57 were hospitalized. Right now they think it was drug-related - either overdoses, or bad synthetic drugs.

By any objective measure, the second story is a bigger deal than the first one. The first story made the national news and was the headline on most news sites (883,000 articles on Google News). But the second was pretty much limited to local news (9340 articles on Google News - Fox was the only news service to carry it nationally). Drug overdoes deaths have more than doubled in the last decade, and at 47,000 per year have now become the leading cause of accidental death in the U.S., passing auto accidents at around 33,000.

The media exerts considerable bias in the stories they choose to cover. They don't like guns, so they carry a disproportionate number of stories about gun violence. They like drugs, so they regularly ignore stories about the growing drug abuse problem. The stats I linked to above probably come as a complete surprise to most readers, because the media simply hasn't been giving it as much attention as it deserves, concentrating instead on publicizing their their other pet "issues." You can either believe whatever the media spoon-feeds you. Or you can educate yourself, do your own research, and figure out where the true problems are.

Drug abuse deaths have more than doubled in the last decade. They've now passed car accidents as the leading cause of accidental death. This is probably the biggest scourge in the U.S. this century, and most people are clueless it's even happening because the media isn't reporting it.

If they were really into that, they could as well open the numerous Netflix envelopes passing through them, rip copies, and put them back. Heck, for all we know, they may already be doing it — stealing Social Security checks and gift-cards has already been done by some enterprising USPS workers.

This was then picked up by The New York Post, who ran the image on Thursday's front page with the headline 'Feds seek these two pictured at Boston Marathon.' And now, a completely innocent teen now finds himself scared to leave his home."

Yesterday on my facebook news feed I saw no less than three fake images that could have been mean pranks. And I didn't even see the one listed above. So now all the "crowd sourced" news folks are going to remove images of this man and this woman and this guy. The reason I didn't propagate these things was that they could have been anybody! You could play a mean prank on a friend/enemy if you have a picture of him with a backpack.

Also there are many fake first hand accounts but also some real first hand accounts in crowdsourced news. Ignore the former and herald the latter. People will think you're doing god's work simply because they didn't watch the shitfest that is crowdsourced news in the moments of pure confusion immediately following the event. The signal to noise ratio, the added noise, the fact that people can start leads anonymously, it all reeks of a really bad, lawless, unaccountable lynch mob.

So now post hoc you scrub out all those false leads and you clean up all the things you were wrong about. Then when that's done you point out the few leads you were right about. Then you go on and on at length about how 4chan and reddit are the new real sources of journalism. The mainstream press is busted to all hell (do not confuse this with a free pass or defense for them) but they know they'll be held accountable and the New York Post's gamble should really turn into a slander/libel suit with damages paid out to that young man. NYP made money off those 'exclusive' images at the expense of a person's safety and that should be a civil suit that should expose the NYP for what it really is: a piece of shit rag no better than a tabloid version of "crowd-sourced" news.

Who was it that initially fingered Salah Eddin Barhoum? You don't know and no one ever will because there is no integrity with how that lead was developed.

ABC was the most reliable source I could find. Not very, I know. Still better then NBC.

Which raises the question. Status as magistrate is not in keeping with the narrative the media wants told, why?

Following links from TFA, we find this fascinating quote: "Law enforcement officials picked this week to shut down the sites for a reason. There are a couple of satellites which travel regular orbits enabling perfect pictures of Greenland and its glaciers.

They are the Terra satellite and the Aqua satellite.

Terra has been in orbit since 1999 and Aqua since 2002. They have taken some excellent, high-resolution images of Greenland and her ice sheets.

They are both in a perfect situation to take comparative images of the extent of glaciers and ice pack over the approximately 10 year period of their service. It would be quite easy to see just how much ice is and is not there in that given time frame. However, there is a problem. I can't find any images which show these comparisons. Why? It ought to be an obvious course of research. "How much ice is there today verses ten years ago?"

But that question isn't answered with direct photographic evidence.

Instead, we are offered fudge FUDD articles like this one, (widely quoted), based on squishy, confusing math.

Why can't we see some simple photos? I am told over and over that the glaciers are retreating. The ice packs are melting. Polar bears are drowning because the ice is vanishing so quickly. (One wonders why the bears did not just walk away from the water's edge. Greenland didn't sink. So maybe something else was going on. Like creative hysterical journalism perhaps?) But okay, the claims are that the ice is vanishing. Fair enough. I'm open to that. I've been open to that for the whole enthusiastic several-year ride I took on the Al Gore bandwagon. But enough is enough. Show me the pictures. We have the satellites in place, they take excellent images on a regular basis. So show them to me. We could all benefit from this very simple demonstration.

But we don't have those photos. (We do have some curious items like which seem to stand in stark contrast to the AGW narrative.)

But really, I'd like to see those satellite images from then and now. Why has nobody provided them?

Yes, before you argue, climate change is certainly happening. There is no question about that. But the problem is a LOT more complicated than just CO2 emissions. Consider. . .

1. It's happening not just on earth. (Notice the brand new giant spot on Jupiter? What convenient timing.)

2. Animals are freezing to death in places where this doesn't normally happen. Vietnamese cows. Fish in many parts of the world are dying because they find the water too cold. Even people in India are being hit with weird cold snaps. It is suggested that we are entering another ice-age.

3. Magnetic north is rapidly sliding out of the norm. The airport in Tampa FL just repainted its runway markers to catch up with the change.

4. Greenland experienced its first sunrise after the longest night two days too early. [..]on january 13th (13 minutes before 13:00) of each year, the people of Ilulissat go to welcome back the sun after months of darkness." It's clocked to the exact same minute every year. This year it was off by two days. That's odd. --And of course, the AGW people have quickly leaped to blame the melting ice sheets, saying that with the ice sheets melted down, the sun would of course be seen earlier. But there is a problem with that theory. The Sun's appearance isn't measured over something as changeable as ice. It is measured over rock and ocean. So what might be the real reason?
