Many Out There
A quick Google for LED "reading light" revealed the following:
LumaTech makes a nice one. 100 hours on 4 AAA's...YMMV. $19.95 from here.
LightWedge makes another, $34.95, available through Amazon. Customer reviews available. 100 hours/charge as well.
There are more....Google before posting...seriously. Do your own dirty work.

Re:Neuros Player Soon...
Are any of those FM broadcasters any good? I know of the iRock and it's pretty lousy. C Crane, who makes good components, has one that is rather large and expensive. I haven't tried it so I can't comment on its performance.
Wouldn't it be better if you just connected it directly to the car stereo? -
Trek 4
I've got the Trek 4 4 led flashlight. Working great and still on its orignal set of batteries after 8 months.

CC Radio VersaCorder
I'm surprised no one has mentioned the CC Radio VersaCorder. It's not digital, but it does record FM and AM shows. You tell it the time and it records at 1/4 speed, so you can record those 3 or 4 hours shows on one side. And if you want to listen to it on the go, you use the player which plays the 1/4 speed tapes. It is not digital and it doesn't have a built-in tuner, but hook it up to a radio, or any other device, like a phone to record conversations. C. Crane makes many different products for radios so you might want to take a look at their

The Kill-a-WattRecently, I found a little personal power meter that you plug into the wall, and the device you want to measure in front of that. It then shows the amount of kWh that device is used. It's a stand-alone device, and runs between $40-50.
It's called the Kill-A-Watt, and is available from ETA Engineering, CCrane, and Radio Shack.
.I'm not involved in this, but just bought one, and it's answered a bunch of questions about how much everything uses. Interesting!

Re:Speaking of things like this...Yea, $50 exactly:

Seems like a good time to mention the kill a watt

Found this on google, of course

An led array that screws into regular fixtures. A little pricey at US$59.95, but it it never burns out, the your total cost would be 59.95/infinity, or is my math wrong? ;) -
Geek Toys at C. Crane CompanyC. Crane company (www.ccrane.com) has had this and other nifty stuff for years and years. They sold bucketfuls of this stuff along with the hand crank radios and night scopes and other geeky survivor type stuff before the Y2k crunch.
One of my favorite toys they have is the radio set wall clock . It checks itself every hour, and is great for things like daylight savings time, etc.
I am sure that this is not the only place to get this stuff, but a second source is always nice.

LEDs on Late Night RadioI first heard of these a couple years ago on late night radio. Typically you could get them from places like the C. Crane company.
Of course, these were very popular among certain folks who were stocking up for the Y2K crisis last year. (Everyone who remembers the end of Western Civilization, raise your hands).
Actually not a bad technology, but a little pricey if you do not have a real need for it.
C. Crane company has some cool things, although they are more oriented towards the radio geeks
