    http://www.congress.gov Change will not come about until we are able to get the MPAA, General Electric, Wal-Mart, and a lot of other greedy corporations out of the pockets of our leaders. The first step in dooring this is letting your representative in congress know that you are on to them and that you are a registered voter who disapproves. Despite the best efforts of the RIAA , We the people are still in charge around here. http://www.congress.gov

    Considering that many US citizens appear to have never actually read either
    Declaration of Independance, US Constitution or relevent state constitutions.


    Dead right. It would be interesteing to see if any of these fine young people ever read any of those documents. Or this bunch of gansters. And I would be extremely surprised if this promising young man ever managed to read it through.


    Most of these guys went to law school, but I suspect they used more time on "networking" than their curricilum.

    I've gone to loc.gov sometimes & also things like congress.gov and you think this should be easy enough to drudge through to get the info I want... But I also seem to go through endless links here & there that make it a nightmare... So having some 'obvious' links that are simply state what they lead to & also search engines that are geared for the average American instead of endless links that annoy you to the point of just giving up.


    I guess for instance... If I go to some commercial site to download their software, demo or otherwise, I want a link that says 'Download' or 'Get it' and actually leads me to the file with a dozen links in between or that isn't really a download page at all.

    Allthough the search is somewhat confusing I've always found www.congress.gov to be indespensible for obtaining useful information in a minimum of time. On the opposite end of the spectrum I've always been annoyed with www.whitehouse.gov because it has more flash than function. Irvu.

    When talking about Microsoft Research, don't give a pointer to Microsoft. This is almost like confusing, say, NASA and U.S. Government (here or here).
