Swiss "Banking"
The Swiss Government has confiscated $37K in his Swiss Bank account.
http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20101206/ap_on_re_us/wikileaks"Swiss bank freezes Julian Assange's account". A real Swiss Bank never
does such things. I don't know about Postfinance, but for Swiss banks
there's only one exception in such matters, and that is when the
'client' has made remarks or moves which has endangered the Zionist
Community, just as happened with Bobby Fischer in Rekyavik. After
arriving in Iceland in 2006, the UBS Bank of Switzerland confiscated all of
Fischer's savings. UBS for the first time showed its real face, instead
of the polished face of independent banking.UBS and the Icelandic government collude to plunder all of Bobby's savings account at UBS

Einstein and the Maxwell equations
Afaik, Einstein and many others were presented with 'adjusted'
Maxwell Equations according Dr. Heaviside in 1875.
In 1993 Art Bell had a radio interview with Al Bielek, where
Bielek said the following:
"Thomas Bearden has gone through this also, and derived the fact
that the original Maxwell equations as written by Maxwell in the
hand written versions, which are well over a hundred years old, are
_not_ what is currently taught in the universities, because Dr.
Heaviside in 1875, because they were hard to understand, and they
could not accept the idea that in the denominator E, as the
electrostatic field, was in Maxwell's original equations stated
that it propagates instantaneously throughout the universe, which
would immediate violate all of the ideas of relativity and c being
the limiting speed of everything in the universe.
So that part has been eliminated basicly from most of the college
texts. You may have some texts that show the original but I'm not
familiar with every book that is around. But nonetheless they
normally teach the truncated version developed by Heaviside in 1875
which was an attempt to simplify those equations and make them more
understandable."
So there's something hidden from public knowledge inside Maxwell's equations.
I made a webpage about this :
"Dark Matter, a result of the heliocentric doctrine "

Keyboard JitterBug eavesdropping
The Dell key-logger hoax has probably the best decoy story to move
professional hackers/security staffers into the wrong direction, as in
May 2006, USENIX published the following research article :
"Keyboards and Covert Channels"
by Gaurav Shah, Andres Molina and Matt Blaze , 2006-05-17
Department of Computer and Information Science
University of Pennsylvania
http://www.usenix.org/events/sec06/tech/shah/shah_ html/jbug-Usenix06.html
In it the authors demonstrate that todays unwarranted wire tapping NSA
activities, normally don't result in much success as serious internet
users routinely apply encryption into their communications, like IPSec
tunneling, ssh, VPN access connections, secure web-traffic https when
i.e. doing Internet banking activities.
However, secret service found a clever approach to all this, by
covertly installing a Keyboard JitterBug into your keyboard. Here's
how to secure your most trusted keyboard :
Keyboard JitterBug eavesdropping
http://crashrecovery.org/internet/#jitter
where i may add, that lock picking _ALSO_ has been the best hoax ever
on public display. Why? How many people today design their _OWN_
locksmith locks? All installed door-locks worldwide are somehow sold in
stores, hence its products and replacement keys are in the archives of
the local secret service.

Re:fiction, fact or satire?
Stan Lee is a government shill? How should i know that? He sure boosted Marvell Comics
to Corporate adulthood. Is such success just pure luck which can happen
to anybody? I used to believe that though, it was called the American Dream.
Today I don't believe that careers or success just happen out of the blue.
Why don't you listen to George Carlin :

Re:Hahaha! == Iron Mountain"Which leads to the really big question. WHY are the media companies so intent on controlling things by region? What is the possible reason?"
Inside "Report from IRON MOUNTAIN ON THE POSSIBILITY AND DESIRABILITY OF PEACE" the world as we know it is divided up into 10 separate regions, see pictures of that here : 10-regions-1.png and 10-regions-2.png The world maps are from the COR, Club of Rome, and introduced in 1973. So this dividing up of the world is a Global Governance thing carried out by the CFR (Council on Foreign Relations), TC (Trilateral Commission), Bilderberg, Committee of 300 you name it. In a recent update of this map, Mexico was moved from region 6 to region 1. I really wonder now if DVD's officialy purchased in Mexico have their region codes moved from 6 to 1 also.

those are slow burners for sure
Why would Philips and Sony introduce a burner which burns all 8.5GB in approximately 45 minutes? Thats awefull SLOW!
I myself burn 4.7 Gig in 8 minutes , so a 8.5 Gig DVD-R would be finished burning in say 15 minutes max... Do i miss something here??

My preferred choice of DVD media with LinuxMy preference of most pupular DVD (re)writable media :
nr.1. DVD-R
DVD-R is 100% compatible with the DVD-ROM standard. The DVD-ROM standard is actually closely analoge to the CD-ROM standard upon which the very popular CD-R recordable is based.
burningtools :- cdrtools-2.0x : cdrecord-prodvd, oss dvd, dvdrecord
- dvd+rw-tools : growisofs
no.2. DVD+R
DVD+R is not 100% compatible with the DVD-ROM standard. Basicly DVD+R is a packet writing standard, instead of tracks, where the last track normally ain't closed. Only to be used in this way for multitrack multi-volume backup and archive tasks. growisofs however has been extended to write -dvd-compat dvd-video iso-images to DVD+R recordable, and closing the disc.
burningtools :- dvd+rw-tools : growisofs + mkisofs
no.3. DVD-RW
DVD-RW is mostly an analog standard to CD-RW. I use it when designing/creating and debugging new iso's.
burningtools :- cdrtools-2.0x : cdrecord-prodvd, oss dvd, dvdrecord
no.4. DVD+RW
DVD+RW is where i touch in the dark. Basicly i would assume that DVD+RW is just a DVD+R which can be 100% erased, and thus be used again as Multi-track/Multi-volume archive disc.
burning tools:- dvd+rw-tools : growisofs + mkisofs

smartadmin a scripting example using dialog
Maybe a good example of how shell scripting can be made to good use is smartadmin, which i wrote during a weekend
:
ftp://ftp.crashrecovery.org/pub/linux/smartadmin/
smartadmin - Create/Edit/Remove a UNIX/Linux user and/or a Samba user.
smartadmin was created out of sheer misgrief about total contra produc-
tive effects of packages like webmin, requiring rediculous resources to
perform basic user administration on a UNIX/Linux and Samba server. The
requirements for smartadmin to act as remote admin is just a terminal
client program which can handle ncurses/dialog menu's.

Linux CRK also good
The Crash Recovery Kit for Linux is a bare bones Linux system with a lot of useful utils you might need for crash recovery. It is useful for both Linux and Windows. Following the directions in their how-to, I was able to boot a crashed system, get networking working, and copy a bunch of NTFS files I really did not want to lose to another PC. It can also do a lot more, see their how-to for details.

Re: USB2 official logoThis is the official USB2 logo, the version which does 480 Mbps : jewel-usb2-ide.jpg
Its a Jewel USB2-IDE casing in which you can mount a 2.5" IDE laptop drive. hooking this one up to a USB2 controller will give you the raw diskspeed your laptop drive can offer.

Subject: KDE desktop on RedHat 8.0 messy?
Hi,
An ex-employee bero aka Bernhard Rosenkraenzer recently resigned from RedHat because he doesn't want to work on crippling KDE.
Well KDE being messy on RedHat 8.0 remains to be seen. So i made a fresh install of RedHat 8.0 and here's what i found:
My setup here is a Matrox G400 32Mb dualhead, with two 21" monitors. Furthermore to get the +xinerama option running i installed the beta driver mgadrivers-2.0.tgz from matrox.com on top of XFree86 4.2.0.
I created 2 users , stock (running KDE) and foobar (running GNOME). I attached two desktop shots from both freshly initialized desktops. As you can see with the KDE desktop the icon subtitles are shifted to the screen on the right. With the GNOME desktop nothing is wrong.
Now i really would like to buy RedHat 8.0, but if my xinerama test fails at home, how am i possibly going to buy the new Redhat 8.0 box? Any clues as how KDE fails and GNOME succesfully runs +Xinerama?
Regards,
Robert
