Reminds me of Shatner Acting Simulator
One can use snippets to learn both music, and acting:

They are NOT marmosets
I sure wouldn't trust this story:
"Beneath a portrait of the Dragon King, the in-store TV shows wrestling before BeastMaster comes on. A man in tigerskin trunks has trained his marmosets to infiltrate the palace of a barbarian king."
Shoddy reporting. Everyone knows that Kodo and Podo are ferrets NOT marmosets.
Who could possibly confuse a ferret for one of these? -
Re:We/they may be better off alone for now
I did just that, and all I came up with was this guy.
Ya don't think..? -

Roddenberry's "on board"
"RODDENBERRY JOINS X PRIZE ADVISORY COMMITTEE"
I see where this is heading: Gene's son joins the team so he can get close to the launch site. He climbs some scafolding just as that Alaskan sheriff is about to board the ship (Contact). Instead of blowing everything up, Gene Jr. jumps onto said Sheriff with a big bear hug and ends up on board the ship (ST:IV:TVH). They slingshot around the Sun (ibid) where they go back to October of 1955 (BTTF). They steal Doc's DeLorean, drive into the future at 88 mph to San Francisco's UFP HQ. Since money is no longer an issue, they easily win an antique British phone box off of eBay, make some slight mods, and time/space warp back to 2004 (Dr.W)
Unfortunately, at the end of this spectacular journey, Gene Jr. was mistakenly wearing a red shirt. We all know what happens to the red shirts.

Re:Ahw man, I was hoping that...
Go build it!
Pedantic [LEGO]Geek mode on
A: Lego Army men
Many fine examples already exist for filling units in most era's.
B: Lego Star trek
Trek is often done. Tho Blake's 7 is more hip.
C: Lego Warhammer 40k
A whole[all units] Dark Eldar army and ideas for modeling units for other powers can be found.
D: Lego D&D
Players of D&D[with LEGO] and other game systems are legion. As are the armies. Several rule-systems for play are also out there.
E: Lego Half life
There are CAD models[in easy format for conversion] for many of the parts go nuts. Sprite based(using POV to render frames) has also been done for a few games over the years.
F: Lego programming department
Cluster em.
PDG mode off [/;-) -

Re:Experimental proof for string theory
Actually, String theory has moved to M-theory, and involves "super strings" and membranes. I've read many books on the subject... most of them have taken a long time to read, i.e. read a few pages, think about it for a few days, go back...
Anyhow, some links:
- M-theory, the theory formerly known as Strings
- One of todays hottest subjects when it comes to Physics is M-Theory
- The lazy-man's Google Search
My take is that, as has been said before, the world consists of 11 dimensions. There are actually many super-string/m-theories, but they are not contradictory, kinda like different views of the same thing.
A main problem with these theories is that there are many (infinite?) solutions the math sets that descibe them.
A 'string' in the theory is like a circular guitar string that is taunt... it has certain modes of vibration, each mode representing a certain type of particle.
Also, there are different types of strings... strings that are self connecting, open string, string that loop around more than once...
Ok, that probably didn't clear anything up...
