Supreme Court Ruling Allows Strip Searches for Any Arrest.

The percentage of the U.S. population in prison is higher than any other nation in the world.

Secret U.S. government agencies give very profitable secret contracts to what is called the Beltway Bandits. U.S. taxpayers pay, both in money and in the resulting inflation.

The Bush family makes money by getting taxpayers to pay for war: The Bush-Saudi Connection. There is an entire book about that: House of Bush, House of Saud: The Secret Relationship Between the World's Two Most Powerful Dynasties.

More and more, the U.S. government does what rich companies and people want, secretly. Killing people in other countries is especially profitable.

Copyright extension bills were passed with very little public knowledge or discussion.

The U.S. government is extremely corrupt, in many ways. It amazes me how often U.S. citizens joke about that, or change the subject, showing that they don't care.

U.S. government corruption, a short list:

1) The U.S. government has the biggest debt of any country in the history of the world.

2) Governments in the U.S., federal, state, and city, have the largest percentage of citizens in prison of any country in the history of the world. The percentage is SIX TIMES that in the European countries. Putting citizens in prison is a huge industry in the United States.

3) The U.S. government has invaded or bombed 28 countries since the end of the 2nd World War, FAR more than any other government.

4) The U.S. government is involved in many, many kinds of activities that are kept mostly secret from citizens. For just one example, read the story about the US government's purchases of over one billion rounds of anti-personnel ammunition. Quote: "The ammunition is to be used domestically, not by the military."

5) The U.S. government often arranges to lie to citizens.

6) The U.S. government has more military installations in more countries than any country in the history of the world. Some of those are secret, so this list is not complete: List of U.S. government military bases.

7) There is far, far more corruption than that. For example, look at the photos of George W. Bush kissing a Saudi price. The book House of Bush, House of Saud, tells part of the story about how Bush and his friends and family took money to support the Saudis against the best interests of United States citizens.

Be a responsible citizen of the planet and do some research. For example, as many others have said, read A People's History of the United States. The U.S. government has a long history of violence, much of it motivated by desire for profit.

The U.S. government is not the same as U.S. citizens. The U.S. government often engages in many secret activities, such as secret violence, apparently sometimes partly to encourage other violence which is profitable for some people. Secrecy cannot be democratic, because the people have no power if they don't know what the government is doing.

Saudi Arabia is only "friendly" if you are an oil company.

Then I guess America is the biggest fucking oil company in the world.

Lying to start a war is treason.

In a democracy, government secrecy is treason. Citizens cannot help run the government if they don't have any way to understand what the government is doing.

There is now an extensive public relations campaign in the U.S. to start a war with Iran, using money from U.S. taxpayers. These are some of the players:

1) Those who control the U.S. government want constant war. War creates numerous opportunities for easy profits that can be hidden from taxpayers.

The U.S. government has a long history of using violence. See the Timeline of United States military operations. See also the Military history of the United States. The Bush and Cheney families had, or have, investments in weapons companies. Those in control hid their involvement.

2) Jews want U.S. taxpayers to pay for Israeli security. A better, cheaper, less self-destructive method would be for Jews to be less arrogant and more caring toward their neighbors. The problems between the Jews and the Arabs have existed for more than 3,300 years. The Jews say that they are the "chosen people" of God. The Jews say that Arabs are descended from an illegitimate child of their tribal founder, Abraham, and a slave girl that he owned. Those ancient problems with relationships will not be solved by guys in Washington who often don't even have a good relationship with their wives.

It would be foolish to think that statement is anti-Jew. A war with Iran will likely mean further troubles for Israel because it is likely to escalate the violence in the area. I'm not the only person who thinks that. See the 60 Minutes episode, The Spymaster: Meir Dagan on Iran's threat. Lesley Stahl, 60 Minutes interviewer, does her disgusting "Oh wow, oh wow!" routine, but there is useful information. (The 60 Minutes program needs better editing.)

Quote: "You have said publicly that bombing Iran now is the stupidest idea you've ever heard. That's a direct quote." -- Lesley Stahl, quoting ex-chief of Mossad Meir Dagan. Mossad is an Israeli government agency that rivals the U.S. government for secret violence, as Jeremiah Cornelius said in the parent comment.

There are only 5,874,300 Jews in Israel. There are approximately 5,275,000 Jews in the United States. In some ways, the U.S. is as much of a Jewish country as Israel. It is amazing how much power that small group of 1.7% of has over U.S. government policy. The population of the U.S. is 313 million.

To many people, the idea of 6 million Jews encouraging violence against 1.6 billion Muslims is self-destructive.

It is a mistake to think that all Israeli Jews agree with Israeli or even Jewish policies. For example: Israeli ultra-Orthodox Jews 'harass' 8-year-old girl over dress. Quote: "... 50 people involved in the abuse of an 8-year-old." Also see Israel braced for protests against treatment of women after girl, 8, is spat on by Jewish extremists.

3) The nuclear power industry w

Secrecy is treason in a democracy. The people cannot help control the government if they have no trustworthy knowledge. Whoever controlled the U.S. government lied to start a war with Iraq. Now the evidence is that they are lying to start a war with Iran.

Another war will make us poor. There are fewer Jewish people in Israel than in the United States. Somehow they have enough political power to get the U.S. taxpayer to pay for the security of Israel.

The Bush and Cheney families had investments in weapons companies. Those in control hid their involvement.

He may be yet another sleazy politician, but at least as of today, he hasn't invaded another country based on lies, and gotten over 4200 American soldiers killed.

Well right now he's busy pulling soldiers out of the Iraqi frying pan and putting them into the Afghan fire.

Give him time. North Korea seems about ripe.

But maybe Obama will be a kinder, gentler warmonger.

In recent years, the U.S. government has carried corruption to levels never seen before: 1) A higher percentage of its people in prison than ever before in the history of the world. 2) More countries invaded or bombed than any other country in the history of the world. (24 since the end of the 2nd world war.) 3) More government debt than any other country in the history of the world. 4) More people killed during undeclared wars than any other country in the history of the world. (11,000,000 killed directly and indirectly in 24 countries.) 5) More money spent on secret surveillance than any country in the history of the world.

But most people don't know about this. Why? Because it's painful to learn, I guess.

In 2004, the first news about the presidential election was reassuring. Mainstream reporters, apparently sending their dispatches from lunar outposts, said the election had gone smoothly. Earth-dwellers experienced a very different reality. From coast to coast, came complaints of voter intimidation, erratic machines, and crazy numbers.

          The morning after the 2004 presidential election was eerily similar to the morning after the 2000 presidential election. All the well-founded predictions that George W. Bush would lose went out the window, and he was once again,

by some sleight-of-hand, installed in the office previously awarded to him by the Supreme Court. Something was seriously wrong. There were questions, not all of them from Democrats, but the American press ignored them.
