    What's the news here? 65 MPG = 27.63 kmpl.
    In July 2006, a Ford Fiesta diesel averaged 31.48 kmpl

    Now these are Indian conditions - I guess cars should be able to do much better in Europe and US.

    My theory is that with China's pollution levels, the population would be poisoned to death. There wouldn't be anyone left alive to stop an invader. Their pollution is that serious over there.

    Passing mobiles got 12 indians into trouble with the Dutch and US Air marshalls. Its horrible how jumpy people have become. Fear is more debilitating than terrorism.

    A Cambridge student working on methods to extract oxygen and metals from lunar soil was recently awarded the first prize in a contest co-organized by the Heinlein trust and Russian aviation/education complex. Maybe his work (and/or derivatives) would have an impact on this promising moonbase?
