Re:...really?
It's quite simple:
The most used software of todays computers for most people is the web browser. So having a decent web-browser make AmigaOS much more usable. And for most else it already have good software. Sure it may not be the state of the art for video editing or something such but for everyday use everything is there and people enjoy their old apps I assume.
Origyn Web Browser is a Webkit based browser for MorphOS and AmigaOS4:

http://os4depot.net/share/network/browser/owb.lhaSomeone has obviously made it possible to play Youtube videos from within iBrowse, which atleast back in the day was an Amiga browser not based on any other engine which I know of:

iBrowse web page:
http://www.ibrowse-dev.net/
Looks like it got a flash plugin for MorphOS:
http://www.ibrowse-dev.net/news.php?id=1169229504And there exist a PPC-version of AWEB:
http://os4depot.net/share/network/browser/aweb.lhaEnough people use it that they have donated more than 5000 euro to get it ported to that page. I don't know if it handles the donation from the old project which was about the same think, getting a modern browser (gecko) on AmigaOS.

Re:Wow, only 64 MB of RAM?
4 MEGS?!?!? Aaah, I'd kill for 4 megs. I used to surf with only 2 MB (Chip) RAM on my Amiga 1200. If only I had memory card and some (Fast) RAM... Let me see, first it was Aweb, then IBrowse, mirracle of technology, so advanced that it ate all the memory I had so I could'n really surf much
:)
One of this days I may finally buy myself an MC68040 or '060 turbo card :) -
Re:cats?
There is already a browser called iBrowse.

Re:cats?IBrowse is already taken. It is a browser for the Amiga. See here for details.

Re:What is it with you Mac fanatics?
I totally agree on you
.... on the point that the A500+ is _NOT_ a god computer to surf the net or doing other everyday tasks. BUT, an A1200 upgraded with a 233 MHz PPC-card and 128 megs of RAM is. And the AmigaONE XE, ones AOS4 is out for it will do this even better. What you said is like saying that "1988 PC:s don't surf the net any god, so why the heck use PC:s? they suck!"
@"AMosaic" LOL! That app is kind of not in use anymore... Why don't you take a look here? -> IBrowse -
Re:iBrowse
"iBrowse" is taken. It's a web browser for Amiga.
