Re:Cmoooooon, Fox!
(oblig. Save Arrested Development Post)
Yeah, what is it with fox? You'd think that any network that can take a steaming turd and turn it into a national phenomena woulc be they'd be able to do something with a show that's earned 5 emmys and nominated for 5 golden globes. But then again, they also killed Firefly, Futurama, and Family Guy. Something about constantly shifting the schedule, showing first-run episodes out of sequence, and not showing any episodes at all during sweeps can dunno. Yet Fox's ADHD scheduling methodology would be bearable if they would just work a deal with a of the online distribution services. But they wont. Hopefully the rumors about striking a deal with Apple are true... but given Fox's history I wont hold my breath. -
Too late! Already attacked American Idol!
The Daily Texan (with gross photographs) reports on Thursday outside the Frank Erwin Center, a horde of zombies attacked the "American Idol" auditions. No one was hurt.
The zombies, 15 fake-bloodied actors in all, lurched out from under the IH-35 overpass and shuffled toward the Erwin Center, where they encountered the pop-star hopefuls.
Most of the 100 or so young people gathered outside had just been rejected by the "American Idol" review board, and they were talking, singing and waiting for rides home when the zombies arrived. "Braaaaaaains!" the zombies said. Nick Muntean, a UT radio-television-film graduate student who organized and participated in the zombie horde, added, "Television rots your braaaaaaains!" The pop-star wannabes were largely unimpressed.
Seen on Blue's News. I wonder if there are video clips of this! -
Zombies storm American Idol auditions...
This past event was better. Even the zombies look cooler (grosser)! Copied and pasted from AQFL:

I bet...
...we'll start seeing more shows fade into the advertisements, as opposed to "We'll be back after these"->fade to black->show ads, to reduce the effect a bit. We may even see the ads alpha-blended in the show in a subliminal way.
Since there's already been ads within shows themselves for a while, I won't be shocked. Things like camera rental, host salaries and the occasional CG effect aren't bargains...right?

American Idol
If being annoying is a crime, then someone should lock up Mikalah...

American Idol...
Chairboy should be on American Idol. He might be the next William Hung!

The next American Idol?
The next thing you know is that Fox will be making movie-theme version for American Idol series with people trying to be actors. I wonder who would be a good judge like Simon Cowell.

Re:Why are you speechless?
Of course it is.

Declining revenue
I posted a similar comment to yesterdays RIAA story
Of course their declining record sales have nothing to do with the public is now fed up of mass marketed pop music where record contracts are won not by original musical talent and song writing , but by nieve and desperate individuals in f***ing competitions while real talent falls into the gutter, leaving a trail of destruction in its path while the instigators get rich.
The only thing killing music is not kids downloading mp3's or pirating dvds at market stalls but by the industry killing itself, kids are simply getting ripped off by these marketing/record companies and have just started to realise globally they are being taken for idiots
why is it that so many companies in the industry (or others for that matter), have so much contempt for their customers and choose short term monetary gains instead of actually concentrating on producing superior products ?
