Clone hasn't disappeared, he posted yesterday. And believe me, most of the responses to you are from me, not him. In his shoes, I would be laughing at you. I'm a tad surprised that he removed the link from his signature, but I doubt your campaign is doing anything seriously to upset him.

And why am I posting? Well, I enjoy a good train-wreck as much as the next guy. This is one of the most bizarre meltdowns I've ever seen. Seriously dude, because of a link to an unflattering article in a signature, you're stalking Clone, and running some kind of campaign against some nobody from Ars Technica?

You may be right - the clone moniker is a pseudonym unlinked to any particular person after all - but if you are it makes your actions all the more ridiculous. You've essentially spend two days running a harassment campaign against someone you consider a "nobody" and simultaneously made a fool of yourself. Nobody reading this is thinking "Wow, this APK fellow is a stable, sensible, fellow who has been libeled by this awful clone person", they're thinking "What a tool."

That's assuming they haven't read this, of course, in which case they already were thinking that.

I tried yesterday to tell you you were acting out of line, that if you had a legitimate beef you weren't exactly expressing it by positng incoherent rants and stalking clone with them. You're doing it today, and it's becoming more and more obvious, especially to anyone who's tracked down the actual source of the conflict, the publication of the link above, that you're an utter kook.

I sincerely suggest you might be better off removing yourself from this part of the Internet for a while, cooling down, and spending some time asking yourself which is actually more damaging to your reputation - some posts you made nearly a decade ago, or what you're doing now.

Jeremy Reimer is just pissed off that while in 2003, over @ the Windows IT Pro forums, he was shot down when I exposed the fact he has no degree or certifications in this art & science.

So, Reimer also later sent several people from arstechnica to try to "get the better of me" on technical issues surrounding memory mgt. in Windows over to try to to do so!

Jeremy Reimer also had large portions of his website FORCIBLY REMOVED by Shaw of Canada (his ISP/BSP) for doing the same & libelling me as well...

Reimer's just an impotent (no kids & has been married for years) limp whimp (who is a homosexual playing "married man"). His wife? Heh, she is a "dancer"... so, in other words, that just makes REIMER her PIMP... she's "damaged goods" & if Reimer is not queer (he is though)? She's so screwed up from the life of a stripper, she CANNOT HAVE KIDS... period. It's that, or REIMER can't "get it up" with a woman is all... lol!
