Sounds reasonable.
Programmers have been running on Jolt for years, now it can run their computers as well.

Re:Why we *should* discriminate against scripters.(intending to be humorous)
Yes, and we know the reason why VB was introduced was to give Jolt a market to sell their caffeine-free products to.
Sorry, couldn't resist.

back in the old days
There wasn't any of these fancy schmancy drinks or overpriced thinkgeek goodies, you had two choices: coffee or Jolt.

Web Ad Product PlacementIt seems that ad revenue plummits even as web usage rises. What to do? At some of the sites I work with, we've been slowly introducing "sneaky" advertising like product placement.
Here's a sample of what your average 'blog will look like by the end of the Summer:
8/20/01:
Just sitting here at my new Dell Dimension sipping a Jolt and I began to wonder about the future of the Internet. I mean, my Comcast @ Home service is wicked-fast. But what's next? I want to be able to stream the new LOTR trailer and snag the demo for Half-Life 2 without a long download.I can't imagine sites pimping misleading links. But it could happen.

how am I supposed to know?
This is the age of information age and the new economy. How is a gear head supposed to know now what toys he or she desires in three months time?
The only solution is to go for the tried and true classics.
The best of which are Penguin brand caffeinated peppermints and Jolt cola.

Vanilla vs. Chocolate
Ben and Jerry's, for instance
Speaking of which, a company called Jeremy's Microbatch has a flavor called "Wired" which is essentially excessively caffeinated vanilla ice cream you can eat with your Jolt Cola.
Great stuff.
The Microbatch site is majorly Flash-heavy. Maybe I just brought it up to start a Flash sucks flamewar.

openCOLA, the ultimate conspiracyFrom the article:
The soft drink won't be sold in stores, but will be handed out to hackers at trade shows and conferences and distributed to others at special events.
I can picture a friendly-looking moustacioed nerd passing out cans of openCOLA...
Nerd: Want some free openCOLA?
Kernel Hacker: Is it free like "free speech" or like "free cola"?
Nerd: Umm... both, I guess... just try some...
Kernel Hacker: Does it have lots and lots of caffeine?
Nerd: This stuff makes Jolt(tm) seem like rainwater in comparison!
K.H.: Is that normal rain or acid rain?
Nerd: Just try it. Come on... the first one's free... everyone's doing it... don't you want to be '1337?
K.H.: Not particularly... but that stuff sounds powerful... lemme try some...
Nerd: (snickering, hands over a can)
K.H.: Ahhhh... this stuff is goo-- URRk! (Plop! The poor Kernel Hacker falls to the ground...)
Nerd peels off fake moustache revealing that he is actually Bill Gates.
Bill: Mua ha ha ha! That's what you get for writing xbill back in college!
A Large, Bald Goon (Ballmer?) drags the corpse of the poor hacker away, then eats it.

Re: Mountain Dew alternatives?>I've never found a decent Dew clone. Anyone have suggestions?
Give Jolt Citrux Climax a try. From Jolt's webpage:
- A crisp beverage that is both sweet and tart. It is exhilarating, refreshing and great tasting; and it is a quality alternative to Mountain Dew. In fact, Jolt Citrus Climax has 40% greater caffeine that its nearest competitor.

Re:What about domain parking?
Well, as long as you're going down, how about linking some neat drug-related sites for us?
Here's a few:
Jolt
INFACT Homepage
Altavi sta: Simple Query "drug related"
This was just a lazy search for sites. I'm sure there are plenty of drug or paraphenalia related web sites around.
