Re:Cool story
I don't think you have to be a jihadist to worry that the U.S.'s policy for combating it is insufficiently cautious about "collateral damage". There is also a realpolitik question of whether it's actually effective: bombing the bad guys may feel good, but from a rational perspective feeling good and killing bad guys is not sufficient, and is counterproductive if you cause so much negative sentiment that you inflame anti-American sentiment among the local population, increasing terrorist groups' ability to recruit new members and find sympathetic people to shelter them. In some cases bombing works, and in other cases it does not work, and I think it's legitimate to ask whether the strategy the U.S. is currently pursuing is actually working, or is intended just to make it look like they're doing something, to please U.S. voters.
Here's a fun game you can play in which you wipe out terrorists by bombing them.

The most violent, or the most gory?
The article seems to be conflating the two. This game is probably more violent than any of the listed ones, but it's certainly a lot less graphic. Why is gore bad for children but gore-free violence ok? That's so backwards.

This is probably the closest you'll get: http://www.newsgaming.com/games/index12.htm

Re:but..but..
I believe this is it.

Re:Winners of war?
I'll take the bait - and say you are wrong.
Hate breeds hate, and all you would accomplish is MORE terrorists, using harcher tactics.
go play some http://www.newsgaming.com/games/index12.htm, you will get the message.
I'll eve nuse a cliche: Killing terrorists to end terror is like killing the poor to end poverty - futile. -
You try it.

September 12th
Perhaps building a sim where the idea is to think about what you are doing before you kill thousands of civillians would be a good idea.
Check out September 12th, this is precisely the sim you are talking about! -
September 12
Has anyone else seen September 12?

Re:Perfect weapon -- NOT!
Perhaps you need a lesson from a little thing called September 12.
It's very simple concept to understand. Except for maybe a complete moron like Bush. -
Re:McDonald's
I'll reply to this AC because it's OT.
"By the time the source for Doom3 Is out, I dont think anybody will REMEMBER Bush . . . . or the next 10 presidents."
From what Bush and his war on terrorism has done to the world, I think his name will live in infamy for decades to come. You should all try this little Flash game to get an idea about what I mean.
DooM 3 is coming sooner than you think. Early Q2 2004, likely. That's my guess. Who knows, maybe sooner or later. What's important is that they perfect the engine and make a really good game. I don't care when it comes out, really. The longer I have to wait for it, the better it'll be.
However, our project isn't just about the Bush dynasty, but you can read our documentation to become more informed about it. -

So far they only have one game, but there will be more.
I think the game itself is amusing whether you agree with the point or not. To me games (and programming) are art. Art should have no boundries. Some won't agree with me on that, some will, but that's even another reason I believe it. Because some will disagree and they're entitled to their opinion just as I am. -
Should probably add
September 12th to this list.
