Yep, I know about that. But don't you think they are simply alternates rather than one being right and the other wrong? J and Y (and I*) only became different letters more recently in history, as did U/V/W. So YHWH and JHVH are equally valid, as I see it. Add vowels to taste :)

Man....My wife has taken several health classes, and the Atkins diet has come up in several of them. Its a Diet that has been around since the 70's. And most doctors/researchs/nutritionists agree that it is a bad thing. Check out What some people say. Basically it comes down to a starvation diet...you eat food, but not proper food. Just go to Rawanda for a couple of months.

surely Slashdot (l)users would love nothing more than to be able to spend all fucking day reading about the blisteringly faggy details of other dorks' lives AND get all the poorly-worded pro-GNU drivel they crave, all on the same site. and with the miracle of moderation, users could improve each others' self-esteem by applying "+1, You Go Girl!" and "+1, You're a Beautiful Person!" where needed. Slashdot could become an all-encompassing support group and media company, in much the same way the Oxygen network is for overweight, shrill, unloved housewife bitches.

Excercise doesn't do jack. Period. Just do the math, one hour in gym increases your daily energy consumption in _low single digit_ percentage.

I repeat: One hour of _heavy labour_ has *minimal* effect on your daily energy use.

I'm not entirely sure where you got your information. For example, according to this website, a 200-lb person burns 900 Calories an hour jogging.

If that is a single digit increase in your daily energy use, then you're a machine!
