Here's a much better panoramic link (color)
Okay, that link is not only choppy on my 4 core 8gb ram system (I have no idea why), but it's also in black and white.
Here's one that is in color, and much better: http://panoramas.dk/mars/greeley-haven.html.

Re:Viewing is going to be kind of lame
The only problem with 360 panoramas like this is that viewing it requires you to use some Quicktime-VR sort of setup that always looks bad with the corner distortion and awkward controls. It's hard to map a full spherical image onto a flat display.
I'm going to have to disagree with that. Plenty of great panoramas on that site and are very clean and clear. Just because the source video was crap doesn't mean they all are.

Sample size
Iron-nuclei radiation affects the aging of cells, which is possibly one of the reasons astronauts who have been to the Moon tend to get cataracts about 7 years earlier than other astronauts.
I glad they can draw such conclusions given a sample size of 12. -
A cheesy version has already been done
This is similar... not _quite_ up to the same standard though.

33 years and counting...
The real travesty is that, after inventing the technology to go to the moon and return safely, no human has been there in nearly 33 years. They gave up on the last 3 Apollo missions and no one has been since Apollo 17. It's disgusting. I want my moon base and I want it now!

I wouldn't worry...As someone who only wished he were an artist, as well as someone who has seen what real artists are capable of (via wandering the playa at Burning Man), I don't think you need to worry.
True artists are capable of thinking and bringing to life creations that are utterly astounding in scope, beauty, breadth and ultimately, thought. Their works make you stop, and stare, and wonder, dream and imagine. Sometimes, as in the case of David Best's "Temple of Stars" (Quicktime VR), words and pictures cannot even begin to do justice for the work - you have to have been there to truely appreciate it (I walked across it at night, a truely amazing experience). This is but one very recent example of art that is breathtaking to behold...
There is much art of such beauty out there created by artists. This art can be found everywhere, from the truely large, to the intricately small and delicate. I cannot fathom how these people are able to think about, let alone bring to reality, their visions. Artists are truely on another level of thought, and through their works, one at minimum hopes to be able to touch those thoughts, and at best, learn or be imparted upon some modicum of wisdom to be able to think in kind.

iPod Lounge
The iPod lounge forums has a shitload of these. Some ranging from hacks to good, professional jobs like this story. Of course you could just get a Smart car, since it has an iPod option. Of course it is only for Europe, which is crap since I really want one, and it is kinda an antithesis to the Explorer.
