That's what they should do. Stupid PS3. It's a brick in my entertainment center with that broken drive. And without PSN I am watching Netflix on my Wii. Stupid PS3!
I thought the book was very good. I thought the made-up words were absolutely essential to the basic idea of the book, that there is a type of "universal knowledge" that any intelligent culture would have to understand to even call itself intelligent. This meta-knowledge took the specific forms described on Arbre and is explained to us in the terms used by the avout. I enjoyed the philosophical discussions very much, although I agreed the ending was rather unsatisfying.
I accept your apology. However, I have to clarify, the 29.99% kicked in after the first month. I bought the PC and got the first bill shortly thereafter. But, the pay-by date was the day I received the bill! So, I paid late and they "penalized" me by changing the APR from 0% to 29.99%. That was what I was referring to in the original post. I agree that credit is ultimately a rip-off by any rational viewpoint but saving is not always practical, for example home mortgages. Yes you end up paying triple the principle in total after 30 years but it's pretty common. Is everyone who gets a home mortgage stupid? Heh, maybe, who knows.
Is it worse to be a fool or a jerk? Anyway yes Dell did tell all about the big APR increase if you miss a payment, however, I did not expect to have a payment date that arrived the same day as the bill did. I guess that makes me stupid? All I can say is, you made a lot of crass assumptions and were very rude. I bought my wife a computer for her birthday and opened a Dell account to do so. I understand how compound interest works. I still got shit on by Dell, in my opinion. But now that account is closed so I guess it worked out in the end. Other than, of course, my abject stupidity in the eyes of some dude on the Internet. But, I can live with that.
Wow Taco you sure seem to know a lot about me and my finances! To answer your question: I expected to get a 0% APR, and like I said in another post, I got my first bill the DAY it was due! It was a shitty situation but it's all set now. But thanks for your concern! Jerk...
Apparantly so. I have heard lots of complaints about all kinds of aspects of Vista and yet I have yet to see anyone really saying "Wow Vista is GREAT install it NOW you don't know what you're missing!!!" So, well -- why get it? Except when forced to when buying a new, Windows-pre-installed PC?
Also, don't forget that Disney is a huge company and will lobby heavily.
I doubt Disney will do anything. Think of the leverage they have though, with their thousands of licensed products, all of which carry a tag saying "Made in China". If they were to move their manufacturing back to the USA it might make the Chinese government reconsider the theme park, but in the end I think Disney is just going to suck it up.
I had no problem with the 99 lives (and a friend of mine did it for the very first time, on the Wii) but one problem I have is the "Reset" button. Is there a way to simulate the "Power" button? Because when you just click "Reset" after you beat world 8-4, you still end up with Buzzy Beetles instead of Little Goombas in the "Other World". Anyone have advice on how to start the game from the "real" beginning on the Wii?
No, that's not it. Perhaps some other reason? I for one really want to be able to plug a USB dongle into my Wii so that a wireless keyboard should work. That would be great! Come on Nintendo. In fact I would buy a Nintendo brand keyboard and mouse that plugged into the accessory slot on the remote. I would buy it today.
HA this is like the scene in Airplane! where the passangers all line up to slap the hysterical woman. What I hate most about Microsoft however is a "feature" of Windows where a program will take focus away from the program you are using when you don't want it to. I know what I am doing Microsoft, I will use that other program when I am good and ready! This is honestly the thing I hate most about Microsoft and I know they do it on purpose.
They don't seem to be making that much profit, thete are some auctions with no bids. This is the 20GB version incidentally. I did consider buying one but I didn't want to get stuck with it if it didn't sell. If anyone was lying it was the Wal-Mart manager. Thanks for the ad hominem attack though, it's really in the Christmas spirit. For the record, when the lady announced she had PS3's the crowd groaned. From what I can tell, the majority of this crowd was parents and grandparents who clearly had been told that Santa better have a Wii under the tree come Christmas. In retrospect I probably should have taken a chance on it but after standing around and just missing getting what I wanted I was pissed so I left. Maybe someone did buy the PS3s but everyone behind me in line turned around and left the store. It's rude to call someone a liar without any evidence by the way.
I pre-ordered 3 remotes and 3 nunchucks at EB Games along with the Wii and somehow I got them all on launch day. However, I was at Wal-Mart this morning to try and get a Wii for my brother for Christmas, I was #10 in line and of course they only had 9 for sale. Very discouraging, especially when no one told us this until 8AM, an hour after the store opened. Who knows why. They did have 4 PS3 20 GB units on sale but no one wanted them. And there were 25 people in line for the Wii.
That's what they should do. Stupid PS3. It's a brick in my entertainment center with that broken drive. And without PSN I am watching Netflix on my Wii. Stupid PS3!
I'd be thrilled. But then I'm a hater.
I hate when they give rocks and patches of dirt these grandiose names. You found a rock! It doesn't need a name. Sorry but I hate it.
Forget this! On top of the $50 a month they jacked my bill? See ya later jerks.
Last year we had a tremendous amount, this year none.

Rest assured, I will only use my MAME cabinet for playing Robby Roto.
If I remember the Atari days correctly, the "seriousing up" led directly to Yars' Revenge.

Please. Unless the grounds come out of a civet cat's rear end it will never pass my lips.
Or if you pay late. I got my very first bill the day it was due, paid it, and they said I paid late and boosted me to 29.99%. No thanks!
Is a loan sharking operation which will charge you 29.99% APR. I quickly transferred my balances and will never use that service again.

Don't install Vista. And now you owe me $150.00. Thank you.

I'm going to go pour sugar into my gas tank! Wait here!
Oh.... we've found you, all right....

Lego are capable of building some pretty impressive things.
