Now why didn't Galileo just read the documentation Aristotle had written on gravitation? He could have avoided some nasty arguments with the pope! Or why didn't Einstein read what Lorenz had written on relativity? Or why did Schockley, Bardeen, and Brattain invent the transistor? Vacuum tubes were extremely well documented in 1947. I could go on all night.

You don't need to fall back on the electric universe theory to explain lightning

The Lorentz force has been long and well established, and lightning is caused by the transport of charged particles by convection. It occurs in a net neutral, electrically closed system, the exact opposite of what EU claims.

But since you bring up EU once again (and in a much less relevant discussion than previously), the Grand Canyon does not have a delta because it doesn't let out into a static body of water. It ends in...surprise...more river. The Colorado river does terminate in a delta.

Trying to use EU to explain away erosion and meteor impacts is just plain silly. There is a complete lack of evidence for it, where as the cutting through stratification and the crater formation modelling and hypervelocity impact testing (which perfectly explains your center "spires") are almost immutable support for more ordinary phenoma like water erosion and big rocks hitting things moving really fast.

And tornadoes are a pressure phenomenon. The fact that there is lightning associated with them doesn't change that.

At some point you're going to have to stop posting crap until you've come up with a consistent theory starting from the bottom up and have some math and observations (like a net current toward the sun of a magnitude capable of supporting the sun's output). If EU is right, or even remotely close to right, it should be possible to come up with this.

NASA would be wise to also carefully contemplate what is inducing the dust to rise to form dust storms in the first place. They already have access to THEMIS images from the Mars Odyssey Mission that suggest that there is filamentation of Martian dust storms at both the leading and trailing edges. Furthermore, we also know that Martian dust devils can contain lightning bolts at their cores:

In addition to that, we also know that firsthand accounts from people who have seen the inside of a tornado and lived to tell about it indicate that tornadoes here on Earth tend to shimmer like a fluorescent light from the inside. This is typically obstructed from the outside by dust. There's a brief mention here. I'm sure there are other sources for this information:

This could indicate that tornadoes and Martian dust devils are actually both electrical plasmas, and that the electrical activity is inducing the vortex -- not the other way around.

It is possible that vortexes are the natural result of the right-hand rule within electrodynamics. Peter Thomson's Charge Sheath Vortex site is an excellent tutorial on how this may be so:

He demonstrates his point at the end by creating a miniature vortex using electricity in a petri dish.

My point here is that NASA should seriously consider that the Martian dust is molecularly bipolar and is responding to solar and other electrical plasmas that are affecting the Martian planet. The evidence from both Mars and Earth suggests that it is a possibility.

We already know for a fact that upper atmosphere lightning exists. The weather scientists told us that this was not possible, and they were proven to be wrong. It's now easy to find pictures of upper-atmosphere sprites on the web. Try these:

So, why isn't it possible that they could also be wrong about current theories about tornadoes? And why in the world are those dust storms filamentary? When we see enigmatic features on Mars, we should create future missions to follow that data. As of recently, NASA has been exclusively following their script instead of the anomalies. We need to be doing both.

Wow... a new low. The aliens must be laughing themselves sick at our hubris. The possibility that our weapons might prove a threat to a culture capable of mere interstellar travel (let alone "intergalactic") is about the same as an ant colony against the U.S. Army.

As an added bonus, it seems likely that it can double as a generator, that is, electricity can be pulled out directly with no extra moving parts.
