Book on it... C of Peril... yarrrr!
Lots of old traps in there, I stopped about 5 years ago with this book, needs a lot more work, but covers the basic "ooops" events. Thankfully at least with things like Valgrind / CLANG|gcc a lot of the older dramatic mistakes can be picked out quickly.
"C of Peril" - the book (pdf, free) at http://www.pldaniels.com/c-of-...

Re:American Coffee
Hey, since you know about these moka pots --- have you ever seen one of these http://www.pldaniels.com/mokapot.jpg ? (the moka pot, not the mug or the LCD panels
;-)
It was sent to me from Italy along with some Segafredo vacuum packed grind. -
Re:Hey, this is highly amusing
Don't be fooled, people, that suspiciously cute robokitty takes lithium-ion batteries! Here's a picture from the same day as proof:

Re:Hey, this is highly amusing
Despite all that I could never take it back. I tried to take the cat back 24 hours after I bought it but I got about 2km down the road before everything was too blurry from the sudden onrush of water obscuring my vision.
Looks just like mine, 12 years ago... I just finished this website and for a while I didn't have the product logo so I put my own cat's picture on the page. The client said that's cute and didn't ask to remove the picture...

Re:Server-side filters?
Can anyone recommend a good server-side tool to block viruses and worms?
Try Inflex which runs on top of sendmail or postfix, and the linux version of BitDefenderAV.
Both run on my mail gateway.

Re:I completely agree
Spam catchers should be combined with anti virus solutions, to ensure that authentic messages do generate some sort of response, either to the sender or receiving, informing them of the infection. The technologies would mesh well in this case.
Take a look at Inflex by Paul Daniels. Supports sendmail and postfix, and does spam blocking, virus scanning, filename/filetype blocking, text blocking, etc.
