Re:Community designs as were use for the injuntion
Someone mentioned western digital a while ago and until i got an apple tv i hadn't noticed it but there is a striking similarity in the design between the new apple tv and the somewhat older western digital elements external hard drive. Yes they are a coupling of basic design elements and i don't think there should be any 'protection' for such things, but it certainly looks hypocritical of apple to go after samsung when they've done a much more blatant copy of another company's design.

Re:what PGAs?
And I don't understand why you bring up Socket 478, considering that no Core2-branded processors or even recent Pentiums use it
I respectfully disagree:

Re:Does Yahoo filter spam from rankings better?
Try searching for a review of a commerical product like a TV by model number. Google will fill the search with places selling the product, not with reviews. If Eopinions or Amazon does not have a review, you're screwed. You'll be buying blind. Okay genius, what keywords do you enter? If I wanted to find reviews on the Sony KDL-V40XBR1, I personally would type in "sony KDL-V40XBR1 reviews".
I tried your search. And I wasn't impressed with the results.

This is similar to what I've experienced recently searching for reviews on Google. I can eventually find them, but I usually need to use a much more complex search that removes keywords stores usually use. The next time, I'll try Yahoo and see how it goes.
Or maybe not. The same search at Yahoo turned up shopping.yahoo.com twice in the top 5, and a similar lack of reviews.

Even Better!
One of the many "badges of honor" on PriceRitePhoto.com's website is a PriceRunner award.
http://www.pricerunner.com/retailer/14312/reviews
Look through the list, and you can see 70% of the 5 star ratings are almost cut and pasted identical. Spelling errors matched post for post. It's so blatant that the review page has been put on hold while they verify the reviews. No doubt PriceRitePhoto trying to water down the negative feedback to protect their images.
Look for I purchased a Panasonic AG-DVC60 W/Pro Accessory Kit. I was very pleased with there selection of accessories in this kit, I believe I got the best Value for my buck. Also unlike most other internet ordering sites like this I found it very easy to talk to the sales and custumer service people. There was short waiting times on the phone as well as people who were easy to understand and willing to help me with my order from selection to delivery. I would recomend checking out PriceRitePhoto.com before making your next purchace.
Losers, how low can you go? Apparently PRP found an express elevator to ultimate lameness. -
PriceRunner
Try PriceRunner, a new price comparison site in the USA but successful since long in Europe.

Avoid DABS like the plagueDabs.com is by far the worst retailer I have ever had the misfortune of dealing with.
:(Terrible customer service. They do not allow contact by telephone and only provide an email channel for contact. Which would be fine if they ever bothered to reply.
Anyway, don't just take my word for it; here are some reviews. Pricerunner is a great little site for doing quick cheapo checks, although it doesn't seem to index ebuyer which is probably the best around for service and price.
The lesson learned from Dabs... never trust a company that sounds like a womans sanitary wear.

Oh, and buy with a Barclaycard to get a 60 day price promise on purchases over 50GBP and an extra years' warranty on purchases over 150GBP.

UK - don't buy from Amazon
Price runner shows that Amazon are the cheapest but they are still ut of favour for aggressive and stupid patent practice, so pick another supplier from the list
