Re:question objectivity
As a [whatever], I do know that nearly every single objection I have ever encountered to evolution - and, in particular, common descent, especially as applied to humans and apes - has ultimately been driven by a religious viewpoint, usually a belief in the literal truth of the Old Testament.
You can find a new lie to spread:

BTW, I'm an atheist.

Re:Too fast !
You cannot polish a turd.
Sure you can. All you need is a "cow pie" or "buffalo chips" and a can of shellack.
I have even learned to appreciate the clock made from shellacked Buffalo dung for the whimsical, ice breaking, conversation piece that it surely is!
Pictures, since someone is going to say "Pics or it didn't happen".
Not that I'd want one myself, especially on humid days

Re:Great Idea
We know that silver does this. I've always wondered what gold would do.
It would get stolen, that's what it would do.

Re:Prince song?
Well Prince is a bit of a nutjob. He wants things done his way, exactly. Check out Kevin Smith's story about working with Prince for an idea of what I'm talking about.
She's like, "Prince doesn't comprehend things the way you and I do."
I was like, "What do you mean?" She was like, "Well . . .. .
.Prince has been living in Prince World for quite some time now."
She's like, "So Prince will come to us periodically and say things like:'It's 3 in the morning in Minnesota. I really need a camel .
Go get it.'And then we try to explain to Prince, like:
'Prince, it's 3:00 in the morning in Minnesota, it's January. . .. .
.and you want a camel .
That is not physically or psychologically possible.'And Prince says, 'Why?"'
I'm like, "Is he an asshole?"She's like, "He's not malicious when he does it.
He just doesn't understand why he can't get what he wants. So I can easily see how Prince would want to control every single use of his songs, no matter how big or small. He's just that neurotic. But that's ok, the dude can fucking play.

Re:Yeah...
videos from the Coachella music festival showing Prince covering Radiohead's 'Creep' have been removed
...and nothing of value was lost. ... but we did gain something - anothr opportunity to link to the "princely" fuckup that is Kevin Smith on Prince :-) -
Re:Offense is the best defence?
Its certainly de minimus. This whole thing is a mountain out of a molehole, a trifle, and, to quote the English judge whose ruling was the basis for the theory of de minimus - "the law does not concern itself with trifles."
The offense is a trifle. The injury, if any, is also a trifle. Prince is a total jerk. Prince really must like the whole Streisand effect.

Re:I know Prince is a scary guy, but this ....
As some other people have pointed out elsewhere in this thread, Prince didn't release it for free - the newspaper bought the copies and gave them to their subscribers as a promotional stunt.
He doesn't need help to look bad - just look at what Kevin Smith has to say about Prince (and he can say it because he forgot to sign the NDA).

Re:I know Prince is a scary guy, but this ....
Another poster dug up this gem
Now a film about Kevin Smith going to make this "documentary" would have been great!

Prince is a first class nutbar. Have you read Kevin Smith's story about working with Prince? Still rocks though, so it's all good.

Re:Maybe I'm Confused...
Actually, in a lot of cities in japan (and growing), it is illegal.
