Re:I doubt it....
I know this is going to be hard to take because it means you lost this argument, but puzzles.com is owned by thinkfun. Their name is all over it.
Check this link:

And once you try those games you will realize that Traffic Jam is the best! -

password?
Start Test When the test begins, click HERE to get the test password. For the practice test, you may do this immediately.
Note: please ensure in advance that your browser can refresh this page properly. We believe that many AOL browsers, and perhaps others, do not work instantaneously. Otherwise, you may not notice when the password page is updated.
Uhh, so they put up a pdf... and it's password protected... and you can only see the preview... until they give you the password (released on their site at test time)... which lets you take the whole test?
Am I missing or does this seem ridiculously insecure?
I'd love to download it and play with it... but, uhh, you know, slashdot effect and all...

Re:What did they write?
I haven't been able to figure this out either. However the Google Puzzle Championship seems somehow related to the Code Jam, and the Puzzle Championship has posted their problems. Its probally speculation whether the problems sets are in any way related.

Actually, you can use the card.
Here are several possible uses:
(1) Open your door when you forgot your key and locked yourself out.
(2) cut it just right and amaze your friends how quickly you can go through your latest VISA card!
(3) Frame it in all the junk mail you recieved.
(4) Use it to pull out at the bar, tell stories, bore your friends and even strangers! -
Re:2D rubik's cube?
Easy. That's the classic 15-puzzle.

That's just great
Those archived qualifying tests were just what I needed to make myself feel really stupid first thing in the morning.
