ReadSay PROnounceI make an educational product using speech recognition, and I recently tested it on the Axim.
Send me email if you want to make an offer for the software only, with the disclaimer that there's no support of the Axim yet.

ReadSay PROnounce
I make the ReadSay PROnounce English system, which uses speech recognition to evaluate and diagnose pronunciation, and help with oral reading. I've been offering it for $499, but I'll give a $100 discount to anyone who says they saw it on Slashdot (the $499 price is to keep distributor partners happy.) I've been selling this since September, and all the existing customers (as few as there are so far) are happy with it. I'm (1) in the process of arranging two comparitive evaluations, which will each take months, and (2) trying to sell it to a big educational software publisher.

Re:No Way
I can't believe that this could possibly withstand any attack. Education literature is filled with feedback technologies for learning, from B.F. Skinner's "Technology of Teaching" to attempts to teach vocalists with biofeedback.
Yeah, that's how I feel.

for Chinese readers wishing to learn EnglishDoes anyone know where to find a free Unicode font for simplified Chinese? I've got the PROnounce ad translated into simplified Chinese, but I want to do the same with the interface. Tcl/Tk can handle Unicode fonts just fine, but I can't find an unencumbered Chinese font?
Any pointers to free good-coverage Unicode font for Win32/WinCE?
