Free hardware? Bah...
As an administrator on ReviewFinder, I can tell by the number of reviews of mouse pads and cpu fans that it takes more than just a launched hardware site to get the high-end free stuff. Most of the sites reviewing $500 video cards either bought it themselves, have to send it back soon, or are insanely popular.

Re:Reinforces the video-capable iPod rumoursI don't think it's going to happen, yet. 60 GB is plenty of room for enough movies to keep you going for an intercontinental flight, but my understanding is that these hard drives are pretty slow, and part of the reason that the battery life is so good on iPods is that the drive is not spinning constantly.
Additionally, nobody really wants to watch a movie on a little iPod screen; that's what all the other mini-video-pods are getting wrong. However, imagine if you could plug an iPod into one of these AV Goggle sets and relax on a plane. That might be pretty awesome.
With a screen, anyone can see what you're watching. With these, nobody knows if you're watching the latest videos of the Enron trials or porn or anything in between...

Re:Motion control = games !! ;)
I never tried the Nokia Ngage, so I trust you on this point.
My little brother has a GBA Special Edition, this little thingy is amazing... I had never gone beyond the original Game Boy, so when I
saw him play Colin Mc Rae Rally in full 3D, I couldn't believe it at first ;)
But Nokia has something the others don't: they understand the economics of the mobile phone industry, and maybe with version 2.0 of the NGage they will also have been able to take into account the gripes of the gamers... Wait and see...
I also believe that eventually, all these devices will also have the option to plug these kind of video glasses (looking less cheesy, though ;) ), perhaps wirelessly... -

Re:Big enough for DVD
Why do you need a postage stamp size screen, if you could use these instead.

Not to be a troll...
But does anybody find this to be exceptionally wrong? If you can't go a weekend without playing video games, I think you should have some priority adjustments. He's going to fencing tournaments so why not read books that enhance the mind? I'm speaking directly of combat philosophy books. Granted, there aren't that many out there but it seems better than playing video games in the commute.
Now, back on subject, I'd suggest going with the Sony Glasstron goggles. I have a friend who had a setup with N64, PSX, DVD (Before PS2/Xbox) with these in his car. It worked really well for him. -
