Maybe the research is right but..
The research concluding it led to the LIA is wrong. This paper clearly dismisses solar activity as playing a role in the LIA. http://www.rtcc.org/2013/12/23...

Re:CO2 now causes volcanoes
Yes, the maximum winter area of sea ice is growing, but that's expected
Except it's not expected
“All the climate models say it should be going down and it’s actually going up, and it’s making news,” said Shroeve, adding that the trend is expected to give ammunition to those seeking to discredit climate science. - See more at: http://www.rtcc.org/2014/09/22...
Must be nice to have faith. I have to get by on reason.

Re:Complete article
Check your numbers. The western part of the country had a historically hot winter. California has broken pretty much all the records - the hottest winter, the lowest snow amount and so on. It's crazy, we've had a real heat wave in SFBA. In freaking March!
As for your 'gas prices' anecdote - the actual statistics show that the gas consumption in the US had not changed this winter (quite the opposite): http://www.rtcc.org/2015/01/21... -
Re:Two new deniers are born...
No warming for 18 years? Then how could we have just had the warmest summer ever recorded with continued melting of ice worldwide and rising sea levels? I think this was all predicted by the hypothesis of anthropogenic global warming, and is now being observed. If we see the warming stop, and the melting and sea level rise slow significantly, then we can talk about rethinking the hypothesis. Let me know when that happens.
"Continued melting of ice worldwide"?
WRONG!!!!!!>
Don't you hate it when reality intrudes?
...
“All the climate models say it should be going down and it’s actually going up, and it’s making news,”
...
Wait? The models say Antarctic ice should be shrinking, yet it's GROWING!?!?!?!
Get this - THE MODELS ARE WRONG.

Re:more pseudo science
I'll keep denying until somebody can explain to me why going in and out of ice ages wasn't manmade
but now we should freak out and spend billions over 1 or 2 degrees of "manmade" "climate change" over the last hundred years
(when it has been going back down for the last 15 years straight).
Because it hasn't "been going down for the last 15 years straight"?. The decade from 2000-2009 was warmer than any previous decade on record, 10 out of the 10 warmest years on record have all occurred since 1998 (inclusive). Globally 2005 and 2010 were actually warmer than 1998. Lastly starting with an abnormal year (like 1998 which had an exceptionally strong El Nino effect) and not accounting for it's abnormality is either foolish bungling, or a deliberate attempt to deceive and manipulate others.
This is really basic stuff, if you don't know it, you're probably not knowledgeable enough to provide meaningful contributions to this discussion.

Total BS.Read how that was done.
First, it is supposed to be based on historical data from 1906-2005. It is not based on previous data or on CURRENT data.IT'S a chart that no one wants to top, but global warming's worst offenders, in absolute terms, are the US, China, Russia, Brazil, India, Germany and the UK. New calculations suggest that these nations are responsible for more than 60 per cent of the global warming between 1906 and 2005.
Basically, they cherry picked a small period of time. The fact that they stopped at 2005 is even more telling. Since 2005, US's emissions have dropped, while ALL of BRICS have gone way up.
Heck, here is a better map that shows more CURRENT data. It came from CO2. In this case, it shows 2008's. What is truely wicked is that China has been going up 10-15% EACH YEAR for the last 10 years.
Secondly, Europe out did America in coal emissions for centuries. In fact, they emitted more CO2 UNTIL 1998 when suddenly, they started downwards. In fact, even the UK says that they are the global historical cause of climate change.
Third, check out the following 2 reports:
Here and Here.
What do you see?
That the west, esp. USA, is dropping their emissions, but china alone, emits more each year that destroys those savings. IOW, China is increasing faster than what the entire west can cut. This does NOT include other nations.
So, if you really were the least bit honest, you will get off the high horse and realize that we are in this together. Either all nations work together on this, or we all sink. And if USA takes the same approach that EU took, it will actually RAISE emissions, not lower them. It is EU's racism against China that keeps them from moving more work to there. And sadly, American businesses have taken a non-responsibility approach to issues, so they go on over to China, while ignoring the fact that China is cheating on everything. -
Re:Fixed summary for you
The museum may be in a bit of a delicate position because residents of a state don't enjoy having their state made fun of."
Oh, because the politicians are "the state"? We shouldn't question our elites? Nice servitude attitude you got going on there.
Maybe it being banned has something to do with those same politicians having their hand in the till of the yearly multi-million dollar campaign to sell climate science denial. Forget facts. Forget science. Yay for forum shills, newspaper and television paid climate science denial.
At least we will know who to persecute with extreme prejudice if (when?) climate chaos ends up killing millions.

Missed a step concerning CO2
This signature is set to change dramatically in future. As the Sun begins to heat the planet, one of the counterintuitive effects will be a dramatic drop in the levels of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere.
This happens because more carbon dioxide dissolves in the oceans making them acidic and reacting with rocks to form clays. Essentially, the carbon becomes trapped in sediment on the ocean floors.
So, why would the oceans absorb more CO2? Other sources tell me that warming oceans would absorb less CO2. Why would this happen in reverse in the far future? That seems important since it sets up the rest of the process.
