It's more like we have picked the winners and don't want to see anything "DISRUPTED" at this point so lets introduce lots of friction for would be new players.
Is all part of that process.. As to orbit good luck a disc, and a square have very different gravitational profiles than a sphere, assuming he is even using the Newtonian formulation of gravity.
Just how is that going to work ? There's no way to launch without accounting for the velocity of the Earth spinning.
Just what conceptual framework is he using for flat earth ? Is it meant to be a rapidly spinning disc ? why aren't people just hurled off when they get to the edges then ?
Largest default in municipal bond history. I guess either memories or short or it was profitable enough for some people that a new generation wants to try again.

Well it was a team. I am sure it had women and men. While Bouman did a lot more than "jack shit" she was hardly even decisive. There were three image processing systems used in generating the picture (no idea how you call a week's worth of radiotelescope data for 8 telescopes a picture). One of which was done by Andrew Chael another done by Kazu Akiyma and most of the code that produced the image was Chael's and he is the guy who created the Git Hub project a year before Bouman came on board.
So yeah it seems a lot of political science was involved here.
Should ? OK that implies a moral imperative for it to happen, I would be very much more concerned with the can and how ? There really is no way for anyone without the size and reach of the media giants to compete with them, all three of those companies have ridiculous capitalizations, they are very careful about not actually competing with each other, hardly a situation that fosters competition.
All this does is shift the balance of power. Makes it harder for the ISPs to introduce their own services to compete with incumbent players. Sad thing is those same players will just use regulation to lock in their positions now.
I have a Jetson Nano, NVIDIA's combination of Arm processor and NVIDIA GPU. It's able to do motion detection and object recognition on 8 channels in real time. It's fabulous for home security purposes.
Oh that's hilarious. Truly hateful speech invalidates itself. It's why conservatives love it when totalitarians of all stripes open up their mouths. I would guess it's more a case of far too many accurate comments and questions.
Examples: How do you raise the minimum wage to 15/hr while simultaneously allowing an endless flood of people in that will work for $5/hr ? If sexual preference is biologically determined, just how is gender a social construct ? Or the simple If it's OK for the U.S. to interfere in Russian elections, why wouldn't you expect them to return the favor ?
Facebook is certainly awful, but NZ is jailing people for hosting public domain videos and saying the wrong things. So yeah when they say "Facebook Bad", don't think for one second where they want to go is any good.

Without knowing more about everyone on the team and who did what, etc
I read that and say it's inappropriate to assign anyone credit, and any attempt to is nothing but pushing a bias.
I don't care how many of those I personally authored."
Think about that ? It makes me very sad that this guy is so threatened by this situation he has to deny the value of his work.
