Re: Blame it on TRUMP!
Why dont you watch a few fema behind the scenes docos to see how they work. They can do a lot without even Trump directing anything.
Too bad they can't distribute supplies to people who needed them. People were still without water when they abandoned that water. Thousands of people died because of lack of infrastructure, too. What was the army corps of engineers doing? Just staying home and jerking off?

Re:Where's the ...
This article says "The list identifying these companies will be made available to Pentagon's acquisitions staff, she further pointed out, without providing any further details." So, I'm assuming the list isn't finalized yet. TFA says "Now the Pentagon is working with the three major defense industry trade associations — the Aerospace industries Association, National Defense Industrial Association and Professional Services Council — to alert contractors small and large." My guess is that once it's formalized it will be released to the companies that are members of those associations first.

Re:There are real issues [Re:Heil Hillary as manda
You don't know your history. Let's see what an economist says about the matter.
Why not consult an astrologist or a haruspex?
I think most would agree that Thomas Sowell is smarter and better educated than most people who post on slashdot.
Nope. In fact, Thomas Sowell makes a case every week for being anti-intelligent and miseducated.
If he were actually intelligent, he'd probably realize that the whole left-right paradigm is a misconception, and he's only falling into the trap of self-deception by perpetuating it.
This was written back when 0bama was President.
https://townhall.com/columnists/thomassowell/2012/06/12/socialist-or-fascist-n742098Oh? This was written back when Nixon was President:
This 14-page memo was written by Assistant Secretary of State for Latin America Harry Shlaudeman, who had been following the reporting on intelligence coordination in recent months and had several times solicited reports on the subject from regional ambassadors. He combines the information on Condor and other disturbing trends in a report addressed directly to Secretary of State Kissinger. Shlaudeman states that the Southern Cone governments see themselves as engaged in a Third World War against terrorism and that they "have established Operation Condor to find and kill terrorists in their own countries and in Europe." “ [T]hey are joining forces to eradicate ‘subversion’, a word which increasingly translates into non-violent dissent from the left and center left.” Their definition of subversion is so broad as to include "nearly anyone who opposes government policy."

This is not a one-sided coin
Let's hope other countries do the same thing too.
Remember, agencies of the US government regularly attempt to influence elections overseas, and, oppose the natural desires of their electorate
Below are a selection of links about the same, from across the political spectrum that are quite well-documented.

Re:Stiff the creditors
And then the next time they try to issue bonds or borrow in some other way for some large dollar project, all the potential lenders will treat them as junk and want 15% interest to cover the fact that they'll likely default again.
Common talking point but completely false. Countries that have defaulted on debts have been able to get credit at much lower rates than that, and quickly. Why? Because their economy is now free to grow without their GDP being siphoned off into making debt payments to colonizers. That's part of the reason why people who declare bankruptcy in the U.S. immediately see their mailboxes full of credit card offers.

Re:Good gravy
At the Senate Intelligence Committee hearing on Wednesday, FBI Director James Comey said a number of curious things, but one comment in particular stood out. When asked about Russian influence in the U.S. election and the ability to combat a foreign actor’s misinformation campaign, the Director said, “We need to arm ourselves with good troll armies pushing back.”

The U.S. Department of Defense spent an average of more than US$626 million annually on propaganda
Countries are allowed to defend themselves you know - Anyhow, it is perfectly fine for America to do this - that's the hidden issue with whataboutism. While presumably to show that your hated opponenet is hypocritical, it merely says that it is okay for you, the aggrieved innicent to do it, because your hated enemy does it. And two groups doing the same thing have to be the same.
Ain't it great tovarish?
Pentagon employees account for 40 percent of the federal public relations workforce and also have the highest combined salaries, the audit revealed.
These 2 are about America expanding it's propaganda to domestic audiences, that's a kind of trolling isn't it? http://foreignpolicy.com/2013/... https://www.globalresearch.ca/...
My Gawd! This is an outrage. Time for only other countries, preferably ones who know of 'Murrica's evil wayds to disseminate any news to Americans.

Re: Now, he is in prison
And do you really think the US military will unlawfully abduct a resident of the UK? That would go down well.

https://www.telesurtv.net/engl...Just two quick links on things the CIA has done, and got exposed for... Don't think they would release any info on the more "iffy" things they have done..
Going in for a known, and proven, terrorist may be fine. The problem is where do you draw the line on who to go after without the knowledge or cooperation of the local law-enforcement.

Authorities have bombed suspects in the past
Authorities have bombed suspects, and their children, in our shameful past.
I hope the racist old days aren't back now that many Conservatives are now openly-racist, and even nominated a fascist as the Republican Presidential candidate.

Re:Okay...
Funny that you mention both Assange and the president of Bolivia in that same context, given that Assange later admitted to having "SWATed" the president of Bolivia, leading to the president of Bolivia to demand an apology from him. He was the source of the misinformation that Snowden was on the president's airplane.

I wonder, does Obama mean with "patriotism" spying on abroad companies to give their US competitors a benefit? How Trump of him.

Re:France
Speaking of stopping Morales's plane, that was actually Assange's doing. Largest "SWATting" prank in world history.
So Assange ordered the plane stopped?? Or did the US with a bunch of countries bending the knee?
Assange planted a rumour, but stoping the plane was not his doing in any way.

Re:propaganda?
Venezuelan government's response: The telephone company is to blame. This happened in several Latin american countries. http://www.telesurtv.net/artic... Makes sense if you think about it: Why would one want to only censor Twitter images? Will Slashdot come out openly in favor of a coup d'etat in a European country if they have temporarily internet connection problems?

Re:The benefits of not ordering with Windows
I think you switched your thoughts, as someone who is living in Venezuela right now will tell you. The cuban interrogators, torturers and murderers were right here before Chavez; those cubans are the ones committing atrocities from Miami to the american continent, among them the infamous CIA backed terrorist Luis Posada Carriles.
If only a mild of your fiction was true, and you were actually pointed a gun to your head, you would be dead now. Just like your precious colombian government supported para-military narco groups and have done for decades. I agree with the go to both countries first challenge, but i hope you don't get killed in Colombia if you dare raise your voice against "democracy" (ie. Alvaro Uribe
/Juan Santos Calderón).Chavez sending money to Farc? What for? Don't they make buttloads of money with narcotics? Or are you implying the Colombian government lies? We were very busy succeeding in humanitarian rescue efforts combined with France and various countries while your beloved colombian government was killing their leaders risking the lives of hundreds of kidnapped people. In fact closing all future chances with the last operation by using fake red cross and telesur logos.
