    I follow BG, Heroes, Lost, Dr.Who, and Gilmore Girls (for balance) on TWOP and the recaps are equal-to or better-than the episodes. (and fater to get-through)

    People should go here, and read these recaps, particularly the ones for the two pieces of season opener.

    Anyway, what you said about looking for a planet, and then the fleet becoming home instead reminded me strongly of a point that the recapper Jacob makes - that everyone is getting exactly what they want, in the worst possible way.

    They have already proved in court, many many times, that you have no expectation of privacy in such things as email and instant messaging.

    I haven't seen L&O for many years. Can anyone summarize an episode where email-privacy was featured?

    (That kind of show is too repetitive to deserve an entry on Television Without Pity, otherwise I could search for it there)

    I'd suggest visiting forums where you find people with shared interests. The key is to find someplace big enough that it won't die out, but not so huge that you can't get to know people.

    The Geek Culture forums are pretty good, if skewed toward Mac and Linux fans, and there's a Slashbox option. CNet's Builder Buzz community was great back in the day and is still pretty good in its user-created reincarnation, Hiveminds. If you've got a favorite TV show (or one you love to hate), check out the smaller show forums on Television Without Pity.

    Was it the Klingons who referred to humans as "ugly bags of mostly water"? I was under the impression it was those weird crystal things from the episode Home Soil.
