Re:Who really uses Tivo for radio
Well, if you like there's already digital devices available for recording radio here in the UK, especially digital radio. See http://www.thebug.com/ I use mine all of the time to record BBC radio 4, and bits of BBC radio 1 (blue room) and BBC radio 3 (mixing it) bearing in mind I'm often not near a radio when the good stuff is on, that or I'm asleep.

Re:RA and WMA?
I prefer my method:
1) Buy A Bug
2) Insert SD Card
3) Press record button
4) Enjoy 128Kb MP2 recording with no analogue stage
5) Profit!!! -
Pure Digital's 'The Bug'
Here in the UK, where we have DAB (Digital Audio Broadcasting), Pure Digital have made a DAB radio called The Bug which allows you to pause and rewind 'live radio' (sound familiar Tivo fans?) as well as record shows for later enjoyment.
Nobody's lawyers' seem to be jumping up and down about this over here - I guess it just fits in with 'fair use' rights of broadcast content we tend to enjoy here in the UK!

Re:Google Cache
Oddly enough, the pictures show up quickly on the Google cache, but the site itself is awfully slow. Guess their
.asp server is having problems.
Can't even link to the pretty pictures, because they decided to make it a "multimedia experience". Flash on the "All About" page, and even the simple pictures on the front are chopped into tables so they could use animated .gifs for the screen.
Hopefully the tech in the unit is a bit more efficient than the marketing on the webpage. -

Re:What would be cool...
The Bug actually records the audio in MP2 (the format it's transmitted in) and stores that on a Secure Digital card (which can then be accessed by a pc via the USB port).
