    Try TomeNET, a multiplayer variant of ToME.

    I've had great fun playing MAngband and one of its derivatives, ToMEnet. They're both multiplayer roguelikes, and although they have to sacrifice some of the depth of their turn-based cousins they're still loads of fun.

    A very good implementation of Multiplayer roguelike is tomenet http://www.tomenet.net/ Give it a try! Once you are used to the quasi real-time gameplay it's very addictive!

    I have yet to see a Roguelike with decent multiplayer.

    TomeNET's not bad.

    Try ToMENet. It's Mangband, but far more expansive and "traditional" in the popular RPG sense. It's got Permadeath (default) and Everlasting options to boot. I love that game, it's the only mmorpg I play and ever cared about, because it *real* fun.

    There are other networked varients out there which are neat. Like Mangband ( Mulitplayer Angband, a spin off of moria, which is a spin off of hack), and TomeNet (there is another site but it's slow right now.)

    I run a server for both games on wckg.net. The main server for tomenet is europe.tomenet.net. They are both fun. `8r)
