Re:Yes, totally
This AC was modded as troll, but I think ve is just assuming that politicians would try to take advantage of the infrastructure... in my opinion improbable, as it would be a much more explicit level of corruption than the regulatory capture we have nowadays.
Unfortunately that simply is not true, take road projects, many politicians steer the award of contracts to their favorite donors, some even have kickback schemes for awarded government contracts

Re:wow
This idea to replace all incandescent bulbs with CLFs may not have been thought through completely. Very few people talk about the dangers of CLFs. They contain mercury and lead. If not handled and reprocessed correctly old CLFs will be end up in the landfill where those toxic materials will leach into the soil and the water table.
And what about your kids when they knock over that lamp and break the bulb? They will be breathing that very same mercury and lead. But I guess a few IQ points is worth reducing our energy consumption.

Check it out if you don't believe it. We could be poisoning the next generation by imposing laws that require the use of dangerous materials. And the costs are going to be more than expected since special hazardous material handling processes will need to be implemented to safely discard the millions of bulbs that will burn out and be broken every day.
I can see every house having to have a chemical protective suit that can be worn in case a bulb is broken. -
Re:Don't have time
Apparently This Campbell character and his agency are under fire for spending over $620 million on consultants with little to show for it. Maybe using a little science would have helped.

Kirkacatecas
They should have done a reality TV show about how the real Kirk will be from a long line of Mexican-Iowans.

MIS
What you want is "Management Information Systems". This is essentially computer science minus the coding. This course selection is geared more towards people who are to manage the people who make the software.
Of course you may consider simply obtaining technical certififcations in place of an actual degree, they can be just as fruitful on a resume if not moreso. MCSEs and CCNAs and A+s require almost no knowledge of programming. -
DOLCE
DOLCE may help out.

So, how about Somjad's friend?Somjad hasn't put up anything on coke.ch. And I've had it with this "not every domain is a website" crap. That's completely true -- for some domains. But coke.ch doesn't have any DNS records at all. No A records; no MX records; no nothing.
Meanwhile, Somjad does have a personal page. I looked and looked, but there's no mention of his friend who died of cocaine and no mention of anti-drug activities or groups.
He has a picture of his BMW, though.
