Re:All well and good, BUT
..your sig was the funniest thing I've read in a LONG time.
Yes, and totally unoriginal at that. Seriously, that joke has been around since 1983. -
Re:Face imprint gives away the fake
actually that second image isn't a good example of my point, sorry! The website showed the *positive* (reversed) image against the icon. You'd see much more resemblance in the original (negative) and the icon.
Here's a website that describes the basic theory. I think they have a good point, but since they're true believers, they take it way too far and dilute the original point by trying to show how even modern day art is shroud influenced. Modern day art is much more influenced by the renaissance, which probably has no shroud influence at all (I mean seriously guys, if anybody faked it, it certainly wasn't Da Vinci or Raphael, they had WAY better things to do.) -
Re:tsch as the default shell
Actually when we installed OSx (quite time ago, and not Jaguar BTW) at school, one of our first impressions was that there was no bash (BTW our first one is that we could find the root acount) but it was avaible for download somewhere at the apple site
Time for nothing special ? try this -

Sci-Fi cancells Farscape (MLP)
By yanisa
Sat Sep 7th, 2002 at 05:46:41 AM CSTSci-Fi network shocks viewers: Farscape, its flagship series, has been cancelled.
Fanbase reacts; join them!
-
In a surprise chat yesterday night, David Kemper, Richard Manning and Ben Browder announced Sci-Fi network's decision to cancel Farscape, critically acclaimed and much beloved SF series, now in its fourth season.
Although Sci-Fi has previously contracted for two more seasons of Farscape, they have now excercised an out-clause. This was made known to the creators and cast only after they have finished filming the last episode of Season 4, which means that they have had no chance of even finishing the story. Farscape will thus end with a cliffhanger and unfinished story threads.
Needles to say, the fanbase is in an uproar and the cast is shocked.
And not suprisingly, Dilbert has seen it coming.
If you like Farscape and would like to see it go on, add your voice to the enraged masses.

Re:Geez, Ford couldn't buy publicity like that.
Well, Ford runs NT, so they are obviously idiots...
Actually, Netcraft says F*rd runs Win2K (with IIS 5, of course). FWIW, they also say the General runs Solaris (Nutscrape, though, not Apache).
Looking at the uptime info, GM is getting about two months out of Solaris between reboots. F*rd, OTOH, gets less than a month out of Win2K, which gives a whole new meaning to "Found On Road Dead."
:-)(In case I haven't made my vehicular preferences blatantly obvious, check out this link (no, it's not a goatse.cx link, and neither are the others in this post...that site is disgusting).)

Re:A Point-by-point Refutation.
Wow thinking like this is the reason SUVs are popular and there is a gas shortage.
It's called safety through being bigger than everyone else. It's also called living in a free country, instead of letting the environmentalist wackos dictate that we all drive tin-cans-on-wheels that do 0-60 in five minutes, fall apart if you look at them the wrong way, and put you in mortal danger in what would otherwise be a minor fender-bender.I cant think of a well designed american car. American cars are either designed to show how small their owners brains are or how short their dicks are.
...and your average stickered-up rice burner isn't? Yeah, right. My Cutlass has gone 24 years already, and will still be hauling ass when your Civic has long rotted away in some junkyard.
