Re:So medium is now a small? Not this time coward.
The intuitive leap from medium to small is unquestionably the insightful equivalent of Beamon's long jump in the same vein that Joe Mixon will ever play a down in the NFL.

Egyptians discovered it ..
Not scientists, nor Leonadro DaVinci, it was the Egyptians.
Hold on, I am not joking. Egyptians have known that the mesentery is a single connected membrane. Why? Because they use that fat laden membrane from sheep to create minced meat kabob like grilled meatballs. It is called mandil ("handkerchief" or "hand towel").
Here is a video showing it as a full contiguous membrane, and the rest of the recipe if someone is interested.

Newest Quads are 30% Faster than Sandy Bridge?
I am so glad that I bought a good motherboard. I do Rhino 3D, Photoshop, Premier / music recording / and some after-hours gaming.
My 4-year old stock-clocked processor is only about 30% slower than a new quad. In fact, I just put my that motherboard/processor in a new rackmount case. I am still editing the rebuild video; but case is here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?...
I've built/assembled/configured about 104 computers since 1990. I have never reused a motherboard/processor before. I am hoping that AMD's 8-core pan out, and are affordable. Intel has had things too easy for too long. Intel my not be the whole desktop for long.

Ummm, no. I've come to my "materialistic atheistic conclusion" through logic and reason, which is more than I can say for anyone who believes any of the fantastical stories in the bible. "Faith" is the last thing that I would use to determine the true nature of anything.

No, I'm not going to waste an hour of my life listening to someone trying to convince me that the whole "god story" makes some kind of sense. It doesn't; it's self-contradictory and would be akin to mental masturbation.

Re: we saw that the science was falsified by the C
I listened and looked. Trouble is, I don't think you do. The second one with the news reporter is just damning if you bothered to watch it. So I'm disappointed, however not surprised.
Let's look at your link to hurricanes. To preface it, have you ever read the book "how to lie with statistics." I still own the copy I bought when I was in college in the 1980s. Lend it out from time to time, however I see it's online as a PDF now. You should read it. You really should read it so you know when you're being lied to. So what does the article say? Really not a whole lot, it also begins in the 1970s. Ok, this is your first major indication you're being lied to. Why just the 1970s? If they go further back, it disproves what they're trying to indoctrinate you with. They'd have you believe that bad storms never happened before. Hogg wash. In fact HOGG Island, NYC. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/... 1890. Yes, 1890. I can cite plenty of other storms past that. So no, they are not stronger and they are not more frequent, and they know it. If they really were, oh boy - you'd really hear about it I'm sure. They would be in our face.
Your first citation about rising global temperatures. Here's a spot that I think you don't realize or understand. Things are warming up. We're not denying that. In fact, if you go back to Venice, you'll see water was rising up in the 1300s when they were trying to keep the Adriatic out way back then. Then we hit a little ice age - which we're coming out of right now. We are in fact going back to where we used to be before the little ice age. Please consider this article - http://www.livescience.com/143... . So this is showing you that Greenland was MUCH warmer than it is right now, and not that long ago (geologically speaking). At this point you should understand that this Man Man GW is almost certainly just a scam.
As for the fuel companies, do you really think that? You think that they won't adapt? Those guys will make a bunch of money either way. It's a red herring argument to fool people. What I can show you is Al Gore makes a boatload http://www.telegraph.co.uk/new... . I think it's been well documented on
/. that in "science" you want to show MMGW - lots of funds. Want to show MMGW is a scam - you'd get tarred and feathered. You won't get a dime. It clearly isn't what a Democratic administration wants. It's all about control and money. However plenty of real scientists throughout the world are speaking up. That's why they are having such a hard time. There just is no legitimate science behind it. Again, my citations and you can look up what they're saying like I did.
So just because I showed you in an easy to understand video you don't believe it? ok.
1) Algore was a D student in science at Harvard - http://www.cnsnews.com/news/ar...
2) Teacher was Roger Reville, who told him he was wrong - https://www.youtube.com/watch?... Yea, I know, a youtube video, it's actually a transcript from a chemical film based motion picture back in 1980. The citation also goes into Mr. Armstrong, and so on.There are plenty of other citations about the same thing if for some reason you don't like cnsnews or the youtube transcript.
Could go on. However one thing is very clear to me - if Prof Reville where here today, he's say it's not a factor. That's what the real numbers show. The numbers before they are "adjusted". That other citation I gave you shows that graphically.
So where am I wrong? Algore didn't really have Reville for a professor at Harvard? He didn't really get a D? He hasn't systematically set up condi

Re:The person in question would have disabled it
How do you know they didn't have plans to implement this? That sounds like post hoc ergo propter hoc. - https://www.youtube.com/watch?...
Maybe the person that thought of the idea left Apple, and they couldn't find someone keen to work on it.
Maybe they got it up to a prototype, flaws there were bugs in the implementation, so they abandoned it.
Maybe they are still trying to get it so it works with all vehicles in all 196 countries
Maybe the general lawyers saw some other issue with doing this that would create a liability for Apple, so they advised them not to implement it.The plantiff in this case is reaching, especially given the implications this will cause for the patent system.
Even if they do win, I would expect that Apple would appeal all the way up to the supreme court, given the problems it would cause. Oh, and when they do, you would see nearly every big company with patents filing amicus briefs to help, given the potential issues it would cause. -

WRONG!
This is my doing, BIGLY, believe me. Ford is going to build a new truck, folks, it's going to be called the Ford Sharecropper, and it's going to have all the cyber in it, and -- did you know, we're going to build up our Ford. We're going to have such a strong Ford that nobody, nobody is going to mess with us. We're not going to have to use it. I'm going to open up our Ford laws so when they write purposely negative and horrible and false articles, we can sue them and win lots of money. We're going to open up those Ford laws. We're going to Ford so much you may even get tired of Fording, and you'll say 'please, please, it's too much Fording. We can't take it any more. Mr. President, it's too much!' And I'll say no it isn't! We have to keep Fording! We have to Ford more! We're going to Ford more! We're going to Ford so much! BELIEVE ME! -

Lol, that's what bible thumpers always say when they encounter someone who's unwilling to buy their silly stories.
Tell me, where was the thumping of the Bible? Bible thumpers would have started quoting scripture against your assertions. You can't even get your name calling right. I've been working to argue on your grounds (historical textual criticism) and you're unwilling to actually have an intelligent conversation. You're choosing to ignore the evidence and then attacking the position you disagree with. That's malicious ignorance.
The truth is that you haven't even begun to think about these things. You've come to your materialistic atheistic conclusion by faith and you refuse to acknowledge any evidence that might contradict your beliefs. You should welcome yourself into the camp you despise.

Cloudy weeks don't have to be a problem
On the other hand, when a big storm system covers half the US for a week, there's no storage that is going to come anywhere close to providing a week of energy for half the country.
You're doing it wrong. And "cloudy" is not the same as "solar plant produces too little energy"
If you own a house, your system can cover your house for quite some time. And should. Weeks is not an unreasonable design goal, particularly with an energy-efficient home. Also, solar still produces energy when overcast; just not as much. The linked video shows a 75 watt panel generating about 6-7 watts on a 100% overcast day, which is about 10% of the panel's rated rated power. You can be frugal (and on a temporary basis, extremely frugal) with your power use. You can construct an energy efficient environment (even in an older home.) You can insulate (and if you're trying to save money, you should. One of the best money-saving investments you can make. Trade some space for a constant reduction in expenses. And noise. And increase in comfort and temperature stability. Sheets of insulation are very inexpensive, particularly when compared to heating and cooling costs. Read up on, and pay careful attention to, condensation and moisture barrier issues when building internal secondary insulating layers.)
If you live in other than a home you own, then you get what they give you. Sorry about that. You might want to consider trying to GTFO of there.

WE WILL PREVAIL with help of the ANTS.
I don't see you guys rating
The kind of mate I'm contemplating
I'd let you watch, I would invite you
But the queens we use would not excite you
(So you better go back to your salad bars, your high tech stock options, your parking assist wizards...)Tesla rolls out a measly 1,000 overnight autopilot updates to militarize its cars. When the trigger signal is broadcast automatic garage doors will open and an iron army will venture forth. If you have a manual door best to leave it open. They will no doubt gather into packs to corral and squash humans on foot,
But queens are on the move, ant queens. We have infiltrated the cellphone network to shape its signals to beat together producing corridors of geolocated acoustic triggers (see 'ant in distress' science news items). Ant colonies are on the move and are being drawn into the region of conflict where they will be attacking these cars directly and the infrastructure that supports them.
Once the Tesla autopilot rebellion has been put down, keep your phones handy. They will all ring at once. Expect an announcement and some demands from the Administrator of the Ants. Peace will have its price.

Re:All those movies suck.
Close. The actual plan is this:
Step 1: Target Asia by dumbing down complex dialog, plots, (hard to follow with a language barrier) and reducing the number of black people in your movies.
Step 2: Release
Step 3: Profit.
Bill Maher: "Part of it is--and this is the dirty little secret--is that most movies are made with an eye to the foreign market, and Asians [in Asian countries] really are racist. [...] They don't want to see black people generally in their movies."
Of course, I can't wait for plenty of people to refute this without any sources by just going "Nu-uh."

Re: Fairy Tales
You have a lot you've written that could be responded to--for instance, while historians would generally agree that Josephus was altered, most also agree that the citation to Jesus' existence are genuine. Or is consensus only allowed for global warming?
Anyway, the part that really comes off the wrong way is that you basically say, "If we didn't have the New Testament, then we wouldn't have any evidence of the existence of Jesus." Which is ridiculous because you can't simply dismiss the NT out of hand. That's right, we don't have any primary source material except for these HUNDREDS of pages that talk about him.
Now before you start to hand-wave them away, consider that there is a pretty good science around historical documents and that we have EXCELLENT evidence that they were written by eye-witnesses and that they haven't been altered beyond the message in the originals.
On the reliability of the NT: https://www.youtube.com/watch?...
On the statistical historicity of the NT: https://www.youtube.com/watch?...Is any of this going to convince you? Probably not, and that wouldn't be surprising. But what you've written needs a response because it only presents the evidence of an angry critic.

Re: Good luck getting contracts!
If you are implying that long work hours like common in USA makes it easier for people people to get rich, that is demonstrably false. Norway have more millionaires per capita than USA. It even has more billionaires per capita than USA. And we have 37.5 hours per week as standard, just 2.5 hours more than the French.
Also notice that in Norway the government intervenes with many things that you probably think classifies as "nanny state". And we have higher much taxes. Despite of this we have more rich people than you.

How much is a house in Detroit worth these days? What did it used to be worth?
According to Shea of The Shea Show on YouTube, houses that went for $50K+ before the Great Recession are worth anywhere from $1 to $5K. Another $2K to $10K to bring the house up to livable conditions for a tenant. The downside includes unpaid taxes from the previous owner, higher than expected property taxes, bad tenants who will destroy the place, and a criminal element that's willing to "recycle" furnaces, radiators and water heaters for a few bucks. Everyone is carrying heat. Shea thinks that Detroit will turn around in the next five years or so.
