Diablo Meets The Sims

Fervent writes "There is a hilarious parody over at CNET called Diablo meets the Sims. What happens when someone imports a Diablo skin into the quaint Sims universe? All hell breaks loose."

  1. Ya know what? It WAS funny... by lowe0 · · Score: 2

I found this damn funny. I like Harms's writing, have since he worked at PC Gamer, and I'm glad they pointed this out. So to everyone who thinks this wasn't funny - guess what... it was. But that's all subjective anyway. Get a sense of HUMOR. Just because it was worth a few quick clicks and a couple laughs and nothing more doesn't mean it's not good enough for Slashdot. Then again, I was drunk when I read it, so I may be totally off-base. But who really cares? Thanks to Slashdot for the link, and for making my day a bit more humorous. Some people should really lighten up and appreciate them doing the same for them as well.

    • Tomb Raider meets Metal Gear (We found out how Solid Snake got his name)
    • Wolfenstein meets Windows maze screensaver (Oh, wait, they already did that).
    • SimCity meets Driver (Bored of San Francisco and New York? Try delivering a getaway car in some of the sample Sim cities).

and some kid would get up in front of the school and lip-sync to a song of different gender. It was funny seeing the toughest kid in school sing Tiffany, but only for ten seconds.

    This is like that.

  6. Combine This With Doom System Administration Tools by namespan · · Score: 4

Oooo! Oooo! What I'd like to see is this combined with the Doom System Administration Tool (where you can REALLY kill processes -- with a shotgun!). Never again while your routine system maintenance tasks be the same... will the httpd and sendmail demons devour the smaller user tasks? Can you find you keep PINE from running away with the system without shooting? Will find and grep get and stay together? What about the career of rcs?
