      So when are people allowed to discuss something else then? Will you forgive me if i get on with my life and don't think of the New York attack at least once a minute?

      Strangely enough, many of the stories on Slashdot have nothing to do with the attack. Have you just noticed? Perhaps you should go and read CNN instead. I'm sure it'll be much more to your liking.

    But speaking of this kind of stuff, I was just over at O'Reilly, browsing around trying to jump start my memory of perl (I have been away for a year) and I noticed that they use .asp on their servers. Is that kind of odd since they are making a bundle off of all sorts of free software and act as a (great) resource and promotion for all things open source. I wonder why not .php?
