A 64 MB geforce 3 card goes on sale this friday for a great price, and I wanted to get in on the deal. But then I remembered that it's a damn waste of a card on me, because A) I run linux, and B) I find coding more fun than games. It's a shame, really...
Let's see... you're comparing a video game console to an operating system. I think you're right. There IS no contenst because you're comparing apples to oranges.

I Disagree!
Apples (the fruit variety) and Oranges can indeed be compared, as this paper points out, in a scientific experiment.
They say they'll be comparing the X-box and the Gamecube in the Part II, which is not released yet, though.
The GameCube has been released. I know because I own one. And if you don't believe me, there was a post on slashdot talking about them being released early and another post the day it was released.:)

Are there any games that display hexadecimal readout of game data? Decimal is for dinosaurs.

I just discovered that there is a full Linux chipset architecture operating at half speed in the Nintendo Game Machine.
Linux is a stable, free, open-source software solution for the enterprise and amateur users alike.
